TACTICAL FROGSTEELFLIER 36MM Sapphire Crystal VH31 Quartz Watches for Men Luminous SF745 Diving 200M Waterproof

Solid quartz timepiece, just set it and forget it. Runs smooth with that sweeping seconds from the VH31 movement. The case feels a bit too thick for a quartz and needs a slim case back. Despite the slight thickness of the case I love the domed sapphire crystal. The lume is bright and makes it easy to read in low light. Swapping for a two piece strap doesn’t look too hot, and the case back milling is a bit sharp and doesn’t feel great against the skin. Stock nato strap is robust and sturdy but I love this watch on a bund strap. Everything is better proportioned especially the onion crown. Honestly I would’ve gotten the Steeldive SD1907 too, if it wasn’t for the obnoxious Steeldive logo on the dial. The logo reminds me of pogs from the 90’s. At least Steelflier matches the theme. Good value for money, has potential to be great.

Good product…nice movement, screw down knob, well done steel case, sapphire crystal, etc BUT unfortunately reflects images like a mirror (see picture).

I like the look of this watch it operates well and is easy to read even in low light. I have received so many positive comments. An excellent price for the quality, even has a sapphire crystal, great watch for my military watch collection.

I have no questions to watch design and construction quality. It's very good, even exceptional considering the price and $15 coupon discount. However, luminous dye distributed unevenly through the numerals. This defect is invisible during the day time but unfortunatelly unmissible in the dark. As Super-LumiNova BGW9 is one of the selling points for this watch I cut 2 stars out of my raiting.

Love the retro look of this watch. It fits my slender wrist well. I like that it’s not too flashy, which fits my casual office work setting where I don’t want to draw undue attention. The pumpkin crown and the subtle highly polished surfaces tucked away at the lugs and around the lower edge of the case add a touch of class the otherwise brushed SS surfaces. The band is okay.

Watch looks and feels quality and the domed crystal looks good. Keeps precise time, as you would imagine. This seems like a good deal.

As I said in the title, the watch size is small, more women's sized or boy's size than men's sized. The strap looks green in the description page (Olive Drab), but came in a light tan colour. Despite having a small dial, the watch is thicker than most watches I come across, which makes for a strange shape overall. Setting the watch is like no other watch I have come across. You turn/screw the crown anti clockwise to release it so you can set the watch, instead of just pulling it out, turning to the set time, and pressing it back in. The back has round holes instead of the flat square indents on most screw back style watches.The only thing I liked was the luminousity of the hands (not second hand, which is common) and the numbers. Other than that, I really disliked this watch, generally.I repacked it the same day I received it, and am returning it.
