Inspect your plates prior to installation (i had a jmoded unit already). Be mindful that reverse will be stiffer as well. And make sure you apply the correct gasket. The kit comes with 2 gaskets. Make sure the holes line up. You will get a wrench code related to the torque converter not engaging fully if you use the wrong gasket. And make sure you have the correct torque converter. 10.5 in converter is made for 4r75w. Do your research before purchasing. Or just message me, and ill respond.

Product arrived on time. Bought this to replace cracked separator plate on the valve body of my 2001 Ford Expedition 5.4l 4R75W. I like this thickness of the plate in my opinion it should have been this way from factory. I lost overdrive due to a broken snap ring on overdrive servo. This is a great upgrade over oem.

My old separator plate had a crack from the dimple at the 2-3 accumulator area. I installed the cap type protector over the 2-3 accumulator cover. It looks good.

During the transmission rebuild of my 4R75E I noticed the spider cracking common to the separator plate from impact. This plate is very sturdy and looks like a nice upgraded replacement for the factory plate. I would recommend replacing this on all rebuilds that have the stock plate.

The plate is twice as thick as the original and came with the little load spreader, and my original had the cracks this is supposed to prevent.
