Doubtful super glue will work. The seam between the oil pan and engine block will be heavily soiled with oil, grease and dirt. And, if the leak is only occurring while the engine is running, possible there's a small amount of pressure and/venting occurring at the weakening of the gasket. Better time spent, working on the proper solution. Either buy the vehicle's de facto repair/service book/manual, gather some tools or contact several repair/service shops. The least you can do, in order to ensure the repair shop easily finds the leak, clean the specific area with some mineral spirits or WD-40, careful of any plastic or painted parts. If well painted or plastic, use Dawn dish soap for cleaning the area, and rinse. Bottom line, I wouldn't waste any time on any epoxies or oil additives, as those speculative solutions only serve to compound the problem

Q: Will this work for a car rear view mirror back to the glass?

Yes !, First you need to clean the surface of the Window that the 'Mirror' is to be attached to with Paper Towels wet with '91% Alcohol' as while as the part of the 'Mirror' that is to be attached to the Window. If possible remove the 'Mirror' from the part that is to be attached to the Window, this will relieve or decrease the weight of the 'Mirror' allowing the part that it is attached to the 'Window' to be 'Taped in place with 'Duck Tape' to allow it to 'Dry' without Holding. ( allow to dry for 30 to 45 minutes ). Once dry, reattach the Mirror to the Piece. It should remain in place for months or a few years !. ( Depending on the Climate !.)
