You can't get a stronger knife of this weight and size.
I studied the internal designs of quite a few knives, some are more expensive. This knife is very well designed. You'd be surprised a lot of knives(even name brands and cost more) have weak points particular in the pivot area that even the rest are robust, I question whether the weak point can break first. Now, I am not saying this knife is the strongest, BUT given the light weight, thin that make it very comfortable to carry and even in more formal clothing, it's the strongest for the weight and thickness I've seen. I actually put the knife on the vice and bend ( in prying motion) with both hands and it survived. This is just my opinion and experience. So take it as a grain of salt.

cool knife.
i saw many reviews about the knife. they were all spot on. Great blade, good steel, smooth operation for the money.

A solid, decent, attractive choice for a work tool
These days there are no-nonsense knives meant for work and there are flashier knives to lure the collector with sleek designs and bearings for flippy fiddling play, even in the budget category. This one is great looking but leans more toward being a tool for work than a toy for collectors. It's on washers unlike a lot of its peers on bearings in this recent flood of Chinese D2 folders. That means the flip action isn't going to be as fluid as a knife on bearings, either opening or closing. But if you're buying it as a tool, you're not as concerned with that. Still, I have other knives on washers that offer a lot less plasticky friction than this one, and after half a year with this one, that remains my one complaint.Once it's open, it's a great, lightweight, ergonomic knife. It is somewhat narrow in your grip, and the texture in the scales makes it extra grippy. The reversible clip is fine. The choil offers you a nice choke-up option for stripping or boring/reaming or just more control up close, and the thumb ramp jimping pairs nicely with that. I love this blade shape, with plenty of flat and some belly, and the handle shape pairs nicely with it in appearance and in function. D2 steel is touted as holding its edge longer than its low-cost peer steels, so that's a plus.If you want a tough, grippy, solid, versatile, lightweight work knife for the long haul that also happens to look cool, here you go. A peer for comparison might be the Ontario Rat 2 in D2 steel for a similar price. I like them both but like this one better due to grip texture, choil, and design/appearance. I do wish it opened more fluidly.

A Real Bargain For A D2 Steel Knife
Great knife. The blade was centered perfectly, and all the grinds were good. It flips nicely right out of the box. and it's light enough to carry around in your pocket without too much hassle; not a pocket pig. The heat treatment was done well on this blade. I would have paid more money for a coated blade, but I don't think they produce coated blades for this model. This knife reminds me of some of the earlier Spyderco models that I used to carry around. I scored this knife for less than $30 delivered, and I really don't have anything bad to say about it, just wish they made this model with a coated blade.

Great value with super sharp blade
Ordered this for my 14 year old son. We’ve had moderately professional knives in the past but this one is a winner. Light weight and well balanced. Super sharp drop blade. Well designed handle with plenty of grip. Knife was a little larger than we expected but no complaints since it rides well in a pocket with the interchangeable clip. I’m buying another for myself!

Good For West Side Story Knife Fight Scene Re-Enactments
Fit and finish is exceptional, and D2 blade nicely ground and quite sharp. Problem is with a fairly gentle shake the knife flies open without user touching the flipper tab at all. Obviously safety issues, and may also be an issue for owners in "gravity knife" jurisdictions where the officers will shake a knife a bit to see if you are carrying an illegal weapon. This is presumably an unintended feature, and probably a sign of spotty quality control at the factory.Really is a shame - ergonomics are excellent, design is pleasing, knife cuts well. The handle feels plasticy but also sturdy, grippy, and lightweight.Bottom Line: promising design, most build quality boxes checked, but a weak detente for an EDC knife is never a good thing.

this thing is great, i didnt give it much credit when i got it because its different than what im used to (bearings) i gave it to my brother and after about 2 weeks i asked him if i could carry it to give it another shot and i fell in love with it. the washers make sense on this knife, not as delicate as bearings, still flips great with a bit of a wrist flick. and the build quality is great.
