A superior gripping tape
This 4" wide anti slip gripping tape worked wonderfully on my wood outdoor steps that led down from a deck. The steps were slippery when wet, and this tape made the stairs non slip as well as easy to see the stairs. It was easy to cut and it adhered very strongly to each stair! So far, after several weeks of use, not any part of the tape had come loose. There is plenty of extra tape for replacement on the stairs, if needed. The small roller enclosed helped to apply the tape smoothly.

Reliable Safety with Excellent Value: A Review of This Grip Tape
When it comes to ensuring safety around the home, especially in areas prone to slips and falls, finding the right solutions is key. I recently decided to try out this grip tape on the stairs in my garage, and I've been thoroughly impressed with its performance. It's proved to be a crucial addition to my home, ensuring that my family remains safe on rainy days. The standout feature of this grip tape is its incredible stickiness. It adheres firmly to pretty much any surface without issue, which was a significant concern initially, given the varied textures and materials found around a typical home. I applied it to the stairs in my garage—a spot that becomes particularly slick and hazardous when wet. The tape has remained securely in place without peeling or lifting, providing a stable, non-slip surface even under wet conditions.Another fantastic aspect of this grip tape is its value. Not only is it priced reasonably, but the quality and quantity provided also mean that a single purchase goes a long way. I was able to cover my required area and still have tape left over for other projects. This makes it not just a purchase but an investment in the safety and utility of various spaces around my house. The effectiveness of this tape during rainy days cannot be overstated. It has significantly reduced the risk of slips and falls, providing peace of mind knowing that my children and other family members are safer when navigating the stairs in the garage. Its durability and resistance to weather conditions make it an ideal choice for anyone living in areas where rain is frequent and slip hazards are a concern.I highly recommend this grip tape for anyone looking to enhance safety in their home or workplace. It is particularly useful for stairs in garages or other potentially slick areas that require extra traction. The tape’s strong adhesive quality, coupled with its excellent value, ensures that you are getting a product that not only works effectively but also offers great savings and versatility for future safety projects.

Excellent grip tape, great for extra safety
The media could not be loaded. Decided to use this for the rather slippery fold-out running boards on my SUV. Worth noting the instructions say not to apply to uneven surfaces, but the backing material is pretty forgiving and very flexible. To apply it along the ridges of the running boards, I lined up one edge and worked it methodically through the surface, exposing more of the adhesive laterally a few inches at a time. It took a while, but the results were worth it, in my opinion. Best to wear gloves for this kind of installation, but probably not necessary for flat surfaces.Grip is excellent, and installation is pretty user friendly if you use a bit of common sense. The yellow stripe could be more retroreflective in my opinion, but does its job well enough. Tape is well constructed and the edges are clean, no jagged lines in the roll. Seems like it'll be durable, but will update if I encounter issues with long term use. I go through automatic car washes regularly, but I don't imagine the tape will create issues or come off too easily, as the running boards retract when the doors are closed. For reference, I bought a 30' roll used about 15' 8" to cover both retractable running boards on a 2021 Suburban. Best to plan for cutting a bit of the starting edge if you want to start with a perfectly squared edge, but the 30' roll should be sufficient to cover boards on two regular length SUVs and most of the extended length ones, if you don't go all the way to the edge.

Helpful at night on dark stairs!
We have these on unfinished deck stairs (exactly where they are not recommended for use), so I'm only going to comment on their grip and glow.We stapled them down to help keep them in place. They definitely help keep us from slipping on the stairs. They glow well throughout the night, but definitely more visible if you're not stepping from bright light into the dark. They did not survive unscathed when we needed to shovel the stairs, but that may be a function of being used on untreated wood where they don't stick well. The company would do better making a thicker product that can be attached to surfaces other than smooth, flat ones, but this works for now. We've had them installed for about 2 months. In that time, there were 2 snowstorms requiring the steps to be shoveled, and several days of rain and ice. Considering that the product packaging says not to use it the way we did, it's holding up fairly well. (Glow pic from when first installed. Daylight picture from today)

Great product!
My RV Toyhauler ramp door was feeling kind of mushy after loading a 1/2 ton Harley more than 50 times. I purchased a piece of 5/8 plywood (wish I would have stuck with the 1/2 inch plywood as this was overkill) and cut it to size and cut 45 degree angles on the ends for easier loading/unloading. I then wrapped it in this product and it has been great! Very sticky backing and applied easily yet surely to the plywood. Quality feels good, only time will tell how it holds up. But, I really like this product. The only thing that would have made the job easier is if I would have had an option to order it in a wider size, but I made the 12" work by just laying it side-by-side and wrapping it under the plywood for added support and adherence.

Rough surface and very sticky adhesive backing
Works as expected. The adhesive seems to stick even on somewhat rough painted concrete stair surfaces. Easy to cut with a utility knife. It’s just a bit difficult to peel off the protective paper to expose the adhesive backing before applying. This step definitely tested my patience.

Did the job perfectly.
You always wonder with a product like this if it will stick good enough. It is always the tell tail sign of high quality. I can honestly say this is high quality.

Transparent, no slippy slippy schtuff.
As I sit here with my nekid butt on my brand spankin' new sticky stuff, I'm going nowhere. Fast!As soon as I got home from work, I opened the package and there was this big, wide round thing, and it looked white. After removing the double clear plastic covering, I discovered a pleasantly rough surface.Directions say clean where you're going to put it (so I did). Then cut to desired length, round the corners, peel the back off, and stick that puppy on. I took some creative liberties, peeling back only a little, positioning as best I could, then slid the rest off. It was glorious. Now, you'll want to get any air bubbles out. I recommend something hard, and plastic. Maybe something that doesn't get used often? An expired credit card, a stucco scraper, or better yet, a Pampered Chef scraper. Those things are AWESOME. You can use them for just about anything! It's like those grocery bins you get, and once you get them home you use them for anything but, and next time you're there you have to buy more. I digress. First, use your tool of choice to move back and forth a little. Once you've done that a while, move onto the full length of your item. Take a closer look for air pockets, as it is dang near completely see through. Like the water that goes over it.Admittedly, this is the first time using it, in my 6', two person, soaker tub. Sadly I have no one to join me for an additional review. However, in 43c water (sorry for any of you Americanites who don't get that, Fahrenheit is foreign to me) - it hasn't lifted. So, obliviously, you can't see it in the picture, it's just that dang good. Of course, when you're used to slipping and sliding, it can chafe your buttocks. Don't do that.Sorry for the verbal diarrhea. I guess it's not verbal though because it's typed. I hope you have a WONDERFUL day. Remember, "It is what it is; you can only do what you can only do. Make the worst situation the best it can be." (me, during and after losing my wife to cancer last year at 44).Keep on keeping on. Except wherever you put this schtuff. You ain't goin' nowheres!

Less quantity Just half i.e. 15 foot instead of 30 foot.
Quality is OK, but quantity (length) is just half as mentioned in product description.
