Well my friend had a take on Aromatherapy and massage where they said " Heck it smells good and I feel refreshed from the manipulation of muscles and tissue so it must be good!" They were probably correct overall. Clearly this book tells it well. The introduction of the timeline associated with using oils and such for the body and coupled with appropriate massage learned over centuries really establishes the depth of knowledge associated with today's applications. This book is incredibly good. It is for the more advanced participant (there was an earlier edition more towards the complete novice). Here the theory becomes practice and the outcomes are your answer to value. Like a cookbook, until you have tried the recipes you do not have judgement over the writing. With this book it is pretty much the same. Get into it and explore the options and overcome the unknown challenges easily. An easy read. A valuable tool. I recommend it.

A great read on massage and aromatherapy - I recommend it!
Really practical and helpful read. Contains some great information about essential oils and massage. I enjoyed how it outlined the basics, and also went into health benefits and techniques in such a clear way. The detail and structure is great, from the chemical breakdown of the oils to the explanation of why and how they work for stress relief etc when applied. Some fantastic benefits of massage with essential oils, through combining massage and aromatherapy, are explained and broken down... Some pretty amazing stuff!! Definitely worth the buy if you're interested in this area - I recommend this book.

Perfect combination
The mere presence of Essential oils on your skin is good enough to give you an amazing experience. Couple that with a massage and you have yourself the ultimate route to your own heaven. The therapeutic benefits you can expect from what the author writes about are so great that it is worth all the time it takes to get there. We choose our own methods to find healing, and my choice has been essential oils. But this technique of mixing it with a massage seems to be the healing method I have been searching for. This is a great book for learning how this all works, in the correct way.

A nice book to read on a coffee break
A nice book to read on a coffee break! I liked the in-depth explanation about the pros and cons of using essential oil when applying it for a massage, especially the oils to use for children and for those who have sensitive skin- that it might caused adverse effect to them. The whole discussion was consistent- and the chapter which has really made a point to me was chapter 9: about the explanation on why we got headaches and what essential oils would help alleviate it. Good and informative book. 4 star for it!

There is no doubt that Essential oils are great alternatives to many chemical-laden home products out there, and most have therapeutic benefits as well. Over time, I’ve become more confident in blending essential oils myself as a result of learning how to do it and practicing. I will share my secret, and that is this book. It cannot help you with the practicing, but it can help you with learning how to do it. Not only will blending essential oils yourself save you money, but it will boost your confidence and help you learn how to use them effectively within your family! This book has the steps that will make this an easy process for you when you decide to try it on your own!

Packed with information
This book is loaded with information and knowledge about essential oils and their use. It can seem a little much at first, especially if you aren't familiar with the subject matter like I was not. Luckily, the author knows how to present that information so it is actually easy to follow and understand.My favorite parts are about stress relief and mindfulness and the role essential oils can play in that context. I'm really into mindfulness at the moment and it was really cool to learn how I can enrich that experience even more.Anyone who is interested in essential oils should give this book a chance, there is enough material to find something that is helpful, you'd be surprised.

Massage time!
My wife asked me to look for essential oils that can remove stress. She requested it that is why I researched it right away and I got this book now. While reading this book I got interested about essential oils now because there are lots of therapeutic benefits of massage. I can do the massage to my wife so that I can remove her stress in taking care of our children. I need to practice these techniques in massaging now. I hope the two free books are connected in massage too.

Full of Relevant Info despite being a Beginner's book
I've always been a fan of massages but never really cared about the oils used. I just rely on the therapist's choice of oils. Now I know that the kind of oil used is very important as some specific oils serve various purposes.This book is very helpful if one intends to concoct massage oils at home for personal use or if one is thinking of putting up massage services. Just a beginner's book though but still quite informative and full of relevant and important information.

Good guide for beginners!
This book is a good guide for beginners, who don't have much knowledge about essential oils. I was familair with most of the information in this book since I'm always using the oils in work for massage. This book was good to refresh my mind. Good read!

Very useful
The guide is very useful for absolute beginners or as an introduction to essential oils due to the brevity of the book, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the information. The chapter on improving circulation is particularly good. Thank you.

An Outstanding Book
This is an outstanding book on essential oils and their use in massage. The book is well written and provides more intermediate to advanced applications in a simple and understandable way. The book takes a highly responsible position in protecting groups who are vulnerable like seniors and monitoring patients. The massage techniques are describe in simple detail so that anyone and everyone can apply them. I learned that lavender is an essential oil that helps with reducing and alleviating stress. This rang so true for me, as I use lavender in my home and it has always calmed me down. This is just a great book. I highly recommend it.
