A bit on the heavy side
I use it for straining tea-bags into the cup. Due to hand injury I needed a comfortable handle which it is but it's a bit on the heavy side. It does the job though

Durability is an issue!
Served us well since we bought it in May last year. Unfortunately, as the attached photo shows, the sieve head has now separated from the handle while washing the product! Contacted the seller for a refund or a replacement (it may provide us with an extended use of the product).

Poor design
I use this as a tea strainer for loose leaves. It looks fine and does the job, but the handle makes the strainer too heavy to balance on top of cup/mug. The ones used for afternoon tea always balance, so both hands are available for pouring and supporting a teapot. Would be useless for anyone who has difficulty pouring with one hand, as the other hand needs to keep the strainer balanced.

Dish washer friendly
I previously obtained one of these from a well known High Street store, for a few pounds. However after one cycle in the dishwasher it came out rusty. This product has survived numerous dishwasher trips and is as good as the day that I bought it.

Poor Value for Money
Really disappointing. At first glance the sieve looks smart, but that hides its flaws.Yes, it does the job as a sieve. But that is where it stops. It just feels flimsy for the price paid. The handle wobbles where it joins the stem. The stem is connected to the rim by two tiny welds, they look as if they would give way if dropped. But the worst aspect is where the rim joins the sieve. It is designed such that small particles of food can be trapped, and there’s no way of cleaning it. If washed in a dishwasher, this area traps tiny food particles... and that’s where they stay. I have only used this sieve three times, and tiny rust spots have already appeared under the rim.I would have been better off saving my money and buying a cheap import from a pound shop. Not recommended.
