Upgrade Enders to Klipper
I used this to upgrade an Ender 3 V3 SE. It was a bit tricky to get it working, as there is always something that gets lost in translating instructions into English. In this case, I needed to rename the firmware file downloaded from Creality's web site to something shorter before it would flash to the mainboard (ender.bin worked). Once I figured that out, it worked like a charm.

Some assembly, and making parts, and customizing parts, and buying other parts required
After a slight failed print to make the parts needed to put this together I made some fan settings adjustments. Surprisingly now had better prints. So, yay. It got me better prints, in a way. Then to get the screws needed, they do not come provided. Buy 3m self tapping 10mm screws. You 3D print the bracket for the g shock sensor, which then rests right next to the heat sink. 3D printed part right next to heat source that is designed to melt pla. Yup. Got it all setup. Not a ready to go, the 3D printed bracket needs to be shaved down so it doesn't get in the way of the touch sensor for edge. Now that it's all together it goes into boot mode. Forever. Well, that's that.

It Might Be An Okay Product If It Connected ......Revised
Tried with two new Nebula's to connect to my Ender 3V3se printer with no luck. Got through the somewhat skimpy install instructions to a screen that reports a "motherboard problem" but allows a "self test" of my perfectly working printer. At this point the Nebula screen simply hangs ........... (no further anything)The on-line help suggests basically dismantling the printer and then reconnecting everything on a perfectly working printer to see if that fixes the "problem".A shame because these two Nebulas (now returned) may be just fine for many other printers but they would not connect to mine as they were supposed to. So I very reluctantly have to give a fail.Edit to Add ........ Finally got a Nebula to work, but still pretty tricky to get connected. I can report at this point in time, for me, Nebula is still a work in progress. (probably the rush to get on the market) I have more printer control with the stock Ender 3v3se panel and thankfully it's easy to switch back and forth depending on requirements at the time. I personally find it's easier to get a print without the Nebula. The pluses of Nebula are remote monitoring of current printing, WiFi to the web/printer, or Lan connection to the printer, (meaning no switching SD cards) The little dohicky for measuring the x/y moments is installed but I'm not sure what if anything it's actually doing. But frankly that's about it, so three stars instead of one. Stay tuned Creality may come through with some improvements in the future.

Adds some features of a ke to your se
Works as advertised don’t order an extra g sensor like I did, this package comes with one. When updating your firmware on the printer only have the .bin file and remove all of the extra filler from the file name. Instead of “ENDER3v3se firmware.bin” it should be “firmware.bin”

Tough install
It took about 2 hours to get the firmware to flash. I kept getting motherboard errors as described in other reviews. Somehow it eventually took and I'm not exactly sure how. I had the supplied drive inserted to the display and the ender firmware renamed "ender" in the printer motherboard(SD slot). That aside, absolutely love the nebula. It allows allot of controlling remotely, the camera is good given you provide adequate lighting and I can watch/start/stop my prints remotely. Currently working on connecting the g-meter, will report backEnder 3 v3 seReporting back...100% worth it. This pad/camera really pushed my printer to the next level. If anybody else is with an SE is reading this, I also went to nickel plated nozzles and a PEI bed. Beyond impressed for a total of $300.

Favorite upgrade so far.
Made my ender 3 V3 SE so much better. Having a wifi connection and a camera has made things easier. No more running back and forth with a memory card to load prints. Being able to check on print progress while at work is nice. Instructions need improvement and the bracket to hold the touch screen is a print file on the provided USB. Suggest printing that first before installing.

Made printer unusable
Made every print with any pass it had to take over its own lines drag. Horrible noise and ruined prints.Want to calibrate it? This setup locks you out of e-steps. Want to adjust speed during printing? Can’t, only by percentages.Genuinely a downgrade as it physically will not print any grid patterns anymore.

Helpful once you get it to work…
My husband added this to his Ender 3. It was a mess to get it to work and he had to repeatedly reprogram the machine OS to get it all set up. A week later, when we finally were able to get everything to work, it’s been amazing. Love being able to monitor and control everything remotely.
