Works good enough for holding your phone and will hold a water bottle or something of similar size. Be careful of the weight of the item placed into the holder. The lower stabilizing bar folds back in fairly easily letting the holder tip forward, so that is the cause on the weight warning. Not as easy as I'd hope getting it set up in the vehicle but eventually we got it in place. It will for most phones I am sure but you must take into account the case if you use one. With the case on my phone barely fits and is at risk of falling out. Without it there is no problem but for me taking the phone in and out of the case to use the car holder is not really worth using the holder. Those are the reasons I ended up giving a 4 star.

i bought this one for passenger side to hold water bottle and also for the phone. this fits perfect in airvent and holds small size of bottles.i mainly used for phone holder its does the job and this is exactly what i am looking for. the phone holds nicely and clear view on my phone.the cup holder holding the bottle nicely no spills so far but its can accommodate only the small sized bottle as the holder hook on airvent don't expect heavy bottles which cannot hold on airvents. overall it serve the purpose
