I liked it but it didn’t last.
It was adequately boxed, delivered and put together quickly. I decided to purchase it based on the name KODDS USA, believing that it was manufactured in the USA (duh) but the pump is marked Made in China. No customer service number, address, web site or anything that can assist the consumer in the event they have a question or other concerns. Other than that, and that was a big deal for me, the unit looks well made; the pump was fairly heavy, solid, and It worked rather well... Nice flow rate and it did the job better than the ZODI units I purchased in the past that lasted for a short time then died.But, will it hold up? I could not find any reviews to judge its durability and used it only once, so for now 3 stars.18 month follow-up. This unit is still working, however it only gets tested and recharged about once every 6 months.The charging light stays lite regardless of how long it it is plugged in to recharge. Also, when done using it, make sure you shake every bit of water out of the pump. I think that helps reduce rust and keeps the unit functioning. This unit is sold under several different brands, but they all appear to be exactly the same unit. ***Still 3 stars for me.36 month update.Kept it charged and tested every 6 months.Unit stopped working and will not charge. Used approx 6 times for a total of about 2 hrs. Clearly a very disposable item. Expect One camping trip and in the garbage.
