There have probably been many books claiming to be promulgate a 'Theory Of Everything'. which is a subject that holds fascination for scientists, philosophers and sophists alike.This one submits a model of reality that is expressed in a language of western rationality in general, and computer science/ digital physics in particular.Being someone of that ilk/ pre-disposition, I would rate this as one of the most important books I have read, to date.Among many other things, the book has helped me define the core 'Objective function' for myself - the continuous improvement of the quality of consciousness. The simplicity and clarity of that objective function is highly liberating, and almost heralds the beginning of a new chapter.The ToE is constructed through a few meta-themes, which are not uncommon in their own right, but uniquely rendered through a new lens:1) Beliefs and self-imposed limitations2) Ideas from the edge3) Education , learning and personal growth4) Wisdom (distinguished from knowledge)5) Fear, ego and delusion6) Truth, science and logicMost fundamentally, the author contends that the path has to be walked, not just read of intellectualized on.

Perfect healthy food for a left-brained mind.

I really cant say enough about this book. It made a real impact on me. The author, Thomas Campbell, does a great job of explaining that which has been made a most difficult subject. What he hypothesized in this book is amazingly close to my ideas on what we are, even though I was not fully aware of having these ideas. I knew this to be truth from recurring "dreams " I had as a young child that I never fully understood until I read this book. Personally, I feel this book would benefit anyone who reads it so long as they can have a truly open mind and not judge until they have read and thought about what he has to say. Even those who feel that OBEs are not real can benefit from this great collection of words. Many universal truths are within, although many may not see the real value or finish the entire volume. I am recommending this to everyone I know, and have told many some of the great truths told within. I don't believe this to be what's right, I somehow know it is. A few years ago I found this book and was not ready for it, however I am glad I revisited it and read every word. Opened up my mind. I haven't had anything make me think so much in years. So many questions, most answered before the end.

No canonical group of silly old men to pick the books that make the most sense. No rewriting or edits over the ages by a corrupt church! But still info that took ages to develop. No BS. Still plenty of "magic" because there is magic in knowing what was previously unknown.

Terrific insightful book that includes the rare concept of actively using "common sense" to maintain objectivity when accessing current and potential scientific discoveries with meta-'physics' and our own insights, to gain a better understanding of the Theory Of Everything (TOE).
