I ordered these brushes for my wife to help her with her Rock painting hobby. In many cases the rocks she paints on are 3" or less in diameter so images, characters, and other subjects appearing in her drawing can get pretty small. For these fine details these fine brushes are an excellent addition to her toolbox.These are not your traditional looking paint brushes these are nail brushes. And the look and feel is more like a modern pen. They are designed to put fine lines and details on fingernails, so a high degree of control and consistent fine lines is required.The brushes come in 5 sizes: 5/8/11/15/20mm. This size seems to be the length of the brush tip not the diameter. In fact, the diameter of the brush is nearly the same for all 5. The hairs or bristles used in the brush are extremely fine.The brushes are comfortable and have a good secure grip that provides a steady control when you are trying to apply a fine outline, touch up a small area or add very fine details. Working with acrylic paints, the brushes glide very smoothly over the natural rock surfaces which is some cases can be fairly rough. This is probably a combination of the fine diameter, the length and the fine bristles.So, far my wife is happy with the brushes and had very positive comments about how smooth they were to use and the controllability. She was able to apply very fine lines and make small corrections on tiny images. The smaller length brushes were great for work in tight spaces where the longer brushes flowed and moved to create longer lines.The brushes were also very easy to clean as the paint we used was a water-based acrylic.If you paint rocks and are looking for another solution to fine lines and detail work, this may be something to consider. The paint brushes are very economical, and you get a pretty good selection of sizes to experiment with. This was a good find. We recommend them.

I've used these on my nails but also for very fine details of my acrylic paintings. They work great for both! They're easy to hold but the tiny ridges can be a bit uncomfortable sometimes. I appreciate the cap for each brush and they are very easy to clean and are quick to dry.

These are really nice quality, and the detail I'm able to get using these is amazing. I would recommend them, they're easy to use and easy to clean and the cap is so nice to have it protects the brush perfectly while looking really cute!

I really have nothing negative to say about these other than keep them clean and be careful with them to preserve their precision tips. They are truly fine point, straight, not too stiff or too floppy, and have no stray hairs, no bent hairs, etc, when new. As long as you care for them properly, they will continue to give you excellent art results.The barrels and caps aren't super high quality, I guess, but that doesn't really matter since it's not like nail art pens like these are going to be put under heavy stress. The only minor issue is if you don't align the caps perfectly with the barrels, they can go on slightly crooked and possibly bend the brushes slightly but the brushes are so, so thin, this is not likely to happen unless you're really rushing and being sloppy about putting them away.Overall, I'm happy with these and they do their intended job well.

Love that these have caps! I hate brushes that don't as they are harder to maintain. These have great fine tips- good for fine line details.

I love the ultra-fine point that all 5 Nail Art Liner Brushes have, you can easily paint tiny precise details. I got these for my mini acrylic paintings but my daughter has also used them for nail art. The black rubber rings make them easy to grip and I like that they are long so they're easy to hold for long painting sessions. The pink and lavender colors are cute and bright, so they're easy to spot among my other paintbrushes. The caps are an inch and a half longer than necessary and don't clip on as securely as I would like, but that is the only downside to these fantastic paintbrushes.

I really like these brushes. Thought was definitely put into the design.There are a series of rubber rings to allow for a good grip.The cap has an open end to allow you to protect the tip while giving air flow for drying.The brush heads themselves are very nice. The did not shed any bristles and held their shape during application and after cleaning.I was doing my daughter's nails for New Year's Eve and my son asked if I could order him a set for his mini figures that he paints. So, this is a good product for crafts as well.
