This stuff has been absolutely amazing. A small amount goes along way I’ve had one container last me almost 2 years now and I’m about to order more. I’ve had no aftershave discomfort when using this and it moisturizes pretty well. The scent is a bit strong when you first get it but seemed to wear down to a better level after a while. The smell is amazing though, it lasts for a while and I don’t have to wear any cologne when I put this on and my fiancé loves the smell.

This was supposed to be a Christmas present, but without knowing it I opened the package without knowing it (oops); however, I have to say I’m glad I did.My girlfriend is crazy about the scent. She even likes it more than the $50 bottle of “Obsession” by Calvin Klein I often use. It has a nice delightful smell that is pretty masculine without being too overpowering. Very clean and refreshing, definitely cologne-like. Hard to describe but it’s great. Lingers for awhile too. The perfect amount of fragrance in my opinion.I don’t know if I’d recommend it to those who are overly sensitive to smells (they may find it too strong) but my lady and I think it’s perfect.Doesn’t slap you in the face like some after shaves when you put it on either. It is more gentle. Product goes on nicely and absorbs quickly. No razor burn or bumps.Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the container but I like it a lot, really sets it apart from the other brands out there. The jar is very sturdy.Nice packaging, easy application and it looks nice next to the other products in my shaving toolbox.Happy with the product and happy with the price. I think that probably sums it up on what it is: A gentlemen's after shave. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

I like sandalwood scented after save balm and have tried a few brands over the past couple of years, paying a range of prices. This one is by far the best of all of them. The scent and consistency are great and I really like the container (the knurled lid is very nice). And it's a good value relative to other brands. Many of the other products I used have little pumps that failed or delivered inconsistent amount of product. Or the balm itself was too thick or thin to dispense consistently. Here you control exactly how much you use every time and no waste left over at the bottom. Rarely does a simple product exceed my expectations - but this one did.

Lotion works well and provides good moisturization. However, the scent is nearly non-existent. My wife also confirmed there's nearly zero scent. I'll still keep as a good moisturizer, but for those looking for a firm sandalwood scent, this ain't it.

I’ve used this product for several months now , primarily as a moisturizer after I shave my head. However I also use it after shaving my face and sometimes even when I don’t shave at all.The best part is the scent. The scent is unashamedly masculine. It’s well balanced and lasts long into the day.It moisturizes both my face and scalp (I keep a bald head) very well. My skin dries very easily so this was important for me. Since my skin does dry so easily I do still have to use my daily moisturizer, but I’m sure for that average guy this alone will do the trick.I am fine with the cost, because of the quality of the product and how long it lasts. I shave every other day and this product lasted for couple months (It doesn’t take much to get the job done).A great product and one that will stay in my hygiene routine as long as this company continues to do an outstanding job on it.

Over the years, my partner has loved my American Original Scent after shave balm. It had a strong and delightful, and now there is barely a smell there and the smell is different. Very disappointing to see they have changed a formula — a waste!
