Principia mathematica - Scholar's Choice Edition

Great for maths students

Beware: Despite the description and the Table of Contents shown by "Look Inside", this is simply the 3rd volume of Principia Mathematica -- nothing on the webpage or even on the book cover indicates this. You have been warned.

As there is no indication that volumes I and II are missing (and the book does not make much sense without those), it seems missold, and it was certainly not suitable as the present it was intended to be. While the publishers admit that there are "imperfections such as blurred or missing pages", they claim that they strived "to adequately clean and digitally enhance the original work", but this can hardly be the case as a notable black spot appears on every other page - apparently a result of a blatant failure to clean the scanner and inspect the result.

I returned this book. These are the reasons:The text was completely illegible, probably due to a general coding error. There is any quality control, just flipping through the pages, the error was already visible. It's absolutely unacceptable. It was a completely unusable copy.Moreover, my copy was completely different that the preview that you can see at amazon.uk web. The preview is from the abridged edition in one volume. But the text that GBBooks sent me seems correspond to the third volume of the complete edition in three volumes. Sorry, but all was a disaster.
