Quiet, kittens were curious and took to it quickly
Our 2 American Wire Hair Tabby kittens are the most curious kittens I have ever known and I have probably had 50+ in my lifetime. They love running water and this model seemed to be the most economical. I did, however, have to add protection to the power wire to the wall (conduit - see image) because they were initially more interested in that than the water...go figure. This is a temporary thing, but regardless, I'd rather have a 120v/adapter powered device than a battery powered one because of the inconvenience of having to charge yet another device in addition to the ~465 we currently have. The 'NIGHT' mode seems to work pretty well. I had to put it on the wood floor directly in order for it to register the water Oz weight accurately. Seems it responds to the slightest touch/vibration to engage the pump in that mode. The scale that it sits is very sensitive and registers the weight of water added or consumed pretty accurately. For $45, it's a no-brainer. Have had those gravity fed dispensers and they get pretty slimy fairly quickly...

A few more features than anticipated
Got this for my girlfriends cats after the pump died in another circulating water dish. This one has an app that it links to informing you on the amount of water consumed and the current water level in the basin. I wouldn't recommend taking the basin when you need to refill the water but rather carry a glass to it and pour that into the top when you need to refill it.The cats adapted to the new water dish immediately and seem to enjoy it. There is also a satisfying sound of trickling water when its running from the small spout.overall its great.

Failure twice over
So I got this a week ago and I filled it to the fill line with water and it just wouldn't put out water. So I got it replaced and the second one did the same thing. So I thought, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Then I accidentally put my weight on it and water started coming out. So then I put the other one back together and did the same thing, and sure enough, water came out when I put pressure on the top of the water fountain. I connected it to the app and it always says the water level is 0, even though it's full. It only senses water when I put pressure on the top.Overall, this is a buggy water fountain and I do not recommend buying it since it clearly has issues that need to be worked out. Really sad too, because my elderly cat loves these types of fountains.

The best pet water base, and I have found
I have tried so many of these stainless seal water fountains, and this is the one that my sphinx cats and dogs absolutely love. They are all very picky but this one seems to please everybody. It’s super easy to clean and you can also connect it to your Bluetooth, it’s also very easy to refill compared to some of the others

A "smart" pet water fountain with free app for monitoring water level.
This is a good heavy duty stainless steel water fountain for cats or very small dogs. This fountain is pretty easy to set up, and did not take much time to make ready for use, mostly just soaking the new filter before use. The power connects to the base, not the fountain itself, which is one of the reasons I wanted to try this fountain out. What I didn't know or notice before I ordered it, is that the fountain still needs to be plugged into with a cord from the base in order to run. This totally eliminated the advantage of being able to get to it to clean it without having to get on my hands and knees to unplug it and then plug it back in where it is awkwardly located under a table. Having said that, if you can get to it easily it is easy to unplug and clean the fountain part without moving the base unit. It has good filtration using fairly commonly available filters, and they are easy to change. I strongly recommend using RO water for filling the fountain, as this will give you 2 to 4 times the filter life before needing changing, and you can get several weeks in a row by just back rinsing the filter in the opposite direction the water normally flows, and reusing it. There is no window to see the water level, and the only way to know how full it is, is by using the app. The app is free to download and use, and was a minor PITA to install, but eventually worked okay. The app keeps track of daily water intake, as well as amount of water remaining, through a weight scale in the base of the unit that weighs the amount of water remaining in the fountain. I found this feature to be fairly useless for daily intake, as I have 3 cats drinking from it, so I still have no idea who is drinking how much water. The water level indicator in the app is only semi accurate, but might give you a warning when it's almost empty. I can see this being useful if you were away from home for an extended time, so you could have someone stop by and refill it for you if you couldn't get home to do it, and this would be good used in conjunction with an automatic feeder for such a situation. I have however had several instances where the app has stopped working, and needed to be reconnected, so I still would be hesitant to rely on it completely. The fountain is much loved by the cats however, and they love drinking from it, they are quite partial to stainless steel for drinking over plastic, but then so am I, lol. Overall I can say that for the RIGHT person with one cat, and the need for the special features of this fountain it would still be a good purchase. However, the lack of a visible sight window for water level, the need to still plug and unplug the cord from the fountain base, and the somewhat flaky notices from the app only rate it 3 starts for my review.

It's a great fountain
I tend to go for the stainless steel bowls and fountains for my pets because they are easier to clean and disinfect. Also, with stainless steel, if you don't feel like hand washing it, you can just take the pump out and toss (don't really toss it!)he bowl into the dishwasher. It was quite easy to set up. The app was a bit annoying, but it works. I don't really use it though. I just fill the bowl, clean the bowl, take the pump apart and clean it, and put it all back together. The app doesn't really work for me because we are we instantly filling the fountain. With 8 cats and 2 dogs the monitoring of my pets water intake doesn't really apply. We can never tell which pet drank how much. I wish it had a larger capacity, but it works. I just fill it 6 to 10 times a day. We love it so far.

Amazing
My cat loves this water fountain, after only a few days of adjusting to it! It’s very quiet and when connected to the app, the reminders of when to clean it and change, the filter are phenomenal even letting you know your cats water consumption!
