Only using the textbook because it's prescribed for my course.

I got the book and it was in decent condition, but the shipping was severely delayed.

I do not recommend it as the only study aid for Securities Regulation, but it is good, especially if your professor doesn't provide many examples or if you're using the Coffee textbook. However, in general it was pretty high level, and I used it alongside the Understanding Securities Regulation study aid in order to get a real in-depth understanding of the subject.

Securities Law is a very dense and complicated area of law. This book does a good job laying out the basics of Securities Regulation and I would recommend it for someone taking a course in the subject. This was the assigned book for a Securities Regulation Class at Georgetown University Law Center in Fall 2018.

The essentials for Sec Reg understanding. Any law students in a Sec reg class should use this as their primer.

I bought this book while taking a Securities Regulation course in law school. I would encourage anyone studying the subject to purchase it. The SEC Regs are complicated and hard to understand. This book takes you through the whole subject in a very concise and thorough way. The examples and explanations are extremely helpful in preparation for a law school exam and helped me get a high grade. The only downer about the book is it is two years old and therefore lacks discussion of Reg FD and other important Regs from the past two years.
