Great fun for teenagers and younger on snow.
I would have loved one of these for my family a decade ago. It is a most unusual product, so I was really interested. We have rigid sledges, some plastic and even older are wooden. The obvious problem with wooden or plastic ones are that if you come of or land on them, then it will hurt.Where as this is made of inflatable plastic. It has a large volume, so you won't be able to blow it up by mouth. We have a battery operated pump for camping mattresses and a kayak and it was ideal. We certainly could use this in the summer for fun on water and the top section is similar. The real difference is on the bottom. The bottom section, which has contact with snow, is reinforced. We don't have any snow at the moment, so will have to wait to test it in the Alpes in February, but I think it should be fine on well maintained toboggan slopes, especially when you have reasonably fresh snow.I would have more concern, when using near any sharp objects such as trees/stones. Or if snow froze into sharp forms, say after melting in the sun and then re-freezing. Ice can be very sharp.I note that there is no breaks as such. So you really need to either dig in your boots, or fall off deliberately to stop. Its difficult from the badly photoshopped manufacturers information what the size is. The answer is that is fine for my 20 year old boys and anyone younger. But I think use by 30+ adults is unreasonable, even if a bit of fun.So, in conclusion it is a product which should be great fun. However, do take care as to suitable locations and conditions. You really need snow not ice and avoid contact with anything sharp.

Large inflatable sled for fun in the snow
This inflatable sled looks a lot of fun - yet to really put fully to the test as obviously needs snow. Inflation is quick and easy however and on inspection the thickness of the material means it should take a bit of usage without getting a puncture, as long as you avoid anything too sharp. It's a good size too - can fit a smaller adult or couple of kids easily. At well over 6ft and 17st myself I may be a bit large for it but my kids will love this next proper snowfall we have.
