Dawn Chorus Niger Seed For Wild Birds (12.55 kg)

Excellent food for birds and good value for money. I now have over two dozen Goldfinches in my garden all year round. Attracts a great many varieties of birds but especially Finches and Siskins. Feeders need to be placed above an area that can be easily cleaned as the husks can build up and make a bit of a mess over time but a small price to pay for the enjoyment of watching so many beautiful birds feeding.

Arrived just a few days later than expected. Good strong packing bag containing shiny, clean looking seeds. You'll chirp with this! Would recommend.

I bought this niger seed to feed the goldfinches (having invested in a 16 perch "Ultimate" feeder. They seem very content with this seed, which is much cheaper than the local garden centres and pet shops. I decanted the seed into a plastic container as it provides better protection from mice.

The seed itself is good, and the goldfinches seem to like it just as much as other brands I have used.However, I did not realise that it comes in a big sack, and there was a hole in the bottom when it arrived. I thought it would have come in a plastic tub with some protection from mice.Good product, but prob wouldn't have ordered it had I known the packaging.

Thought i was getting a deal as my mum said you only get what you paid for . Birds not eating

This Nijer seed pack contained other type of seed which blocks the small feeding hole which has been designed for Niger seeds. Other debris such as stalks were also in pack which again blocked the feeding holes.
