Horrible item. Can’t connect to wireless internet. Constantly disconnects. It wanted me to update the software, i did. Then it never connected again. I was told to disconnect the app called CCPET which is what you need to get the feeder working, and voila! Disappeared. You can no longer find the app!!!! Waste of damn money.

I just received this. Setup was a bit of a hassle but everything seems to work. You have to download an app called "CCPET" from IOS or Android app store. Once you setup an account, you scan the QR code and enter your wifi information to see the feeder on the app. I had to try to pair using the QR code way several times...the Android app crashed during the pairing but the feeder announced that it received the password. There's also an Ethernet port on the back so you could connect it to your network and just have the app search for the feeder.I just tried the camera and feeding function and both seem to work as expected. The speaker is pretty loud and my voice came through very clearly. Picture quality is really good too. You can take snapshots that get stored in a "gallery". Also tried functions while on cellular (not on wifi) and they worked too.The app has parts that are in Chinese but most of the functions you can figure out pretty easily. Will update the review later but i'm surprisingly pleased so far.

The media could not be loaded.  Item works decent enough, feeding my pets at the designated times. App was a pain to find on the App Store and is pretty rudimentary. Camera and mic work just fine. But there is some sort of low constant static noise emitting from the unit that is just unacceptable to me. There is also no way to program without the app. Not worth the $ I paid.
