‘00 S10 Xtreme (lowered)
I can feel a slight vibration in the rear of my ‘00 lowered s10 Xtreme after installing these shocks. I can now haul a sportster size motorcycle by just adding some air though so i’ll take the vibration for usefulness any day. I have hauled motorcycles with these shocks in the rear, my “truck” is 3” high all the way around so these help level it out when loaded. I put the fill valve in the bed (protected by a bed cover) near the tail light for easy access at the gas station air pumps. They did not mount perfectly it was pretty tight in places but once they’re in they don’t rub anywhere. It’s easier than a normal shock to install because they’re easily collapsable with no air but they are larger in diameter. This will be my first winter with them so i’m hoping they don't dry out or puncture. I’ll update if anything happens.

Great shocks
These are absolutely great. I've had no leaks, the keep my 97 S-10 bed level when carrying a heavy load. The only negative I may eventually have is their air connection tubing. It is thin and a hard plastic. It reminds me of the thin tubing I recently replaced for the windshield wiper fluid. The plastic is already so hard that all it needs to do is become brittle and crack. There may be ways to replace it with better tubing, just have to make sure you can still get the tubing through the screw-on fittings that attach to the shocks and air valve. A temporary fix may be to run the tubing through a larger rubber tube of some sort to protect it from the elements since it is mounted to the underside of the vehicle and your exhaust pipe if it is near your shocks.

Great choice for lowered Colorado/Canyon
I have a Colorado i lowered 3 inches front to back, and my rear axle was constantly slapping the frame. These at just 25psi for no lift, completely stopped the slapping. Just this feature alone was worth the 50 bucks for these beauties. In addition my ride quality has greatly improved over the blown kyb gr2's i was running. Now i can throw my 550+ lb gs1100 in the back and enjoy a nice level ride anywhere i want to go.Also the installation was very straight forward; the hardest part is trying to find an accessible location for the tee valve. Now i just need to get an onboard compressor...

Broken fittings.
Was excited to install these but didn’t have the time till today. Got the shocks in and started on the hoses and fittings. Come to realize two of the fittings where broken so there’s no way to even finish the install.

These fit perfectly. 2001 crew cab S10
Working like they should so far. My 2001 S10 was sagging to the rear. Bought these to try and level it out. Worked perfect. With in the air pressure they suggested.

Like being in high school again....
I may change my rating as time goes by but thought I'd post my initial impression now.I hesitated to purchase air shocks for the little 94 S10 pickup I bought to drive back and forth to work. I've never been fond of the idea of using these to increase the payload of a vehicle because they apply additional weight to the shock mounts rather than suspension components designed to carry the load. In this case, I have a truck with tired old leaf springs that made the rear of the truck sag and I just wanted to level it out. As I don't plan on hauling any significant weight, I bought the air shocks as an inexpensive fix for a cheap vehicle. I ordered on Sunday and they were on my door step when I got home on Tuesday. They were well packaged and damage free. I installed the shocks yesterday afternoon and they went on as well as any shock would have. Plumbing the air lines took maybe a half an hour.I was not very impressed when I took the plumbing kit from the package and saw what was provided. The air line looks to be 1/8" OD poly tubing. My disappointment is with the fittings provided. All of them including the valve stem are plastic. If something were to happen to the line or fittings, I believe it would be difficult to find replacements. With all of the 1/4" tubing and brass fittings available, I would have gladly spent an extra $10 to have been provided with that instead. The shocks worked perfectly for leveling the truck but leaked down overnight. I just finished taking a bottle of soapy water to each of the connections and found the leak to be MY OWN fault. I seemed to have not used an o-ring in the valve stem connection (at this point I stopped cussing the product). I fixed the connection (there were two spair o rings and two spare nuts with the kit) and am now waiting to see if it holds pressure. As disappointed as I am with the hardware, if these hold up and don't regularly leak over the next six months I will change my review to 5 stars. As I said above, my opinion of air shocks made for very low expectations from the beginning. If they hold up, I'll change my review to reflect them working as advertised even with the cheap fittings.
