Marbles Rams Horn Trapper

Keeper
This was my third attempt at a budget priced trapper, with the first two (from 2 different brands) having fatal flaws (excessive blade play, blade touching liner). Stumbled on Marbles and couldn't be happier. This knife isn't perfect (e.g., the scales match in color, but not in shape or distress pattern), but the "lock" is strong and feels safe to work with. Imperfections aside (everything is acceptable for the price), the knife is well constructed and very solid. Color is a sandy brown with black highlighting - very understated, which is good for the office. I'm keeping this one.

Handle scales material issue.
Firsly, the seller allowed a reurn with no questions. So, Kudos for that. That does not mean the product wasn't significantly flawed though. The blades and metal fittings were just fine, but the handle scales were of poor material. They had deep fissures and gouges and one chip/flake. I was surprised, as the other Marbles Ram Horn knives I own look great! Hopefully, this was a singular incident.

Really nice
This is an all around perfect knife, fit finish, opening and closing, no wobble, looks like rams horn, looks great. Knife nerds would nothing wrong with the knife I recieved, this is my 6th marbles folding knife and all are as good quality as my case folders.

Nice knife at a reasonable price.
Don't pass this knife by because it is made in China. This is an extremely nice, well made knife. I own a collection of of seven different styles of these knives by Marbles with the rams horn side scales and all of them are nice.

Best bang for the Buck
Excellent value here. Not overpaying for a name as hinted at in my headline. This knife is very sturdy and smooth. The weight feels substantial, not lightweight or cheap feeling. Also it comes with a very nice sharp edge that will shave the hairs on your arm. This is one of those items that's actually worth owning more than one. And you could probably buy 3 of them vs one Buck.

Not the best finish, great value regardless.
The handle scales on the knife I recievwd are a little rougher than they should be but that wasn't an issue for me considering the price.

Quality workmenship.
The Marbles Rams Horn Trapper is a very nice looking knife. The craftsmenship is top notch. No gaps in the springs and spacers. Blades are centered. Handles are flush, and brass pens are smooth. A quality knife, I am glad to have it in my collection as I am my Case and Buck.
