Q: i don’t understand the objective of the game . Is it a tug of war type concept ? Can you please explain the game ? .

This is used for multiple activities. I work at a gymnastics center and we use it with our 3-6 year olds for following directions. "Let's see how big we can make it without letting go!" "Who can put one foot in and one foot out?" "Everyone sit in a circle and hold on; we're going to 'row a boat.'" Does that help?
