I love this book!
What a fantastic fully researched book, it was even better than I expected! I am so glad authors are exploring new topics for us Disney fans, I was getting bored with the same old rehashed books about the parks. It is packed with large, full-colored photos and so much more! I hope more authors do more of this in-depth type of Distory Park history.

The Optomistic Future thru the Lens of 1950s America!

Bossert once it arrived, and I must say it was a captivating journey into a bygone era of innovation and boundless optimism. This meticulously researched and beautifully illustrated book delves into the iconic Disneyland attraction, The House of the Future, which fascinated visitors for a decade from 1957 to 1967. Bossert takes readers on a comprehensive tour of the exhibit's conception, construction, and eventual closure, shedding light on its groundbreaking nature. The House of the Future was a true marvel, showcasing cutting-edge construction techniques and futuristic household appliances, some of which are now part of our everyday lives, like the microwave oven. It was a glimpse into a world of endless possibilities, and the collaborative effort between Walt Disney, his Imagineering team, MIT, and Monsanto brought this vision to life in an inspiring way. What truly sets this book apart are the stunning, never-before-seen photographs and illustrations that offer an immersive experience into the world of The House of the Future. Nice if you're into it
I was really interested in this House of the Future a few years ago when I first heard about it, so I was glad to see that someone wrote a book about it. The book was kind of expensive but worth it.

Great memories of the past
I got this book directly from the author. It’s wonderful. As a child who grew up in Southern California, I’ve spent a lot of time at Disneyland. And I remember the House of the Future from when I was a child. It is such a great exposure of the attraction. I highly recommend this book. So many great photos, and diagrams. Well worth the purchase price.
