French ToastGirls' Pleated Skirt

The dress felt good and fit good for my daughter. Perfect for uniform or concert attire.

I have kids in a uniform and this skirt was a perfect addition to there uniform collection.If the skirt is worn as a high waisted skirt it comes to the knees.It's bigger around in the waist than what was expected but I was very happy to see that it came with the adjustable elastic.Would definitely purchase again.

I purchased a size 8 and a 10. Other reviews stated the skirt ran big and it does. My 9 y/o daughter generally wears a 10. It was huge. The size 8 fit great once I made the waistband smaller. For reference she is 4' 7"/73 lbs. She is tall for her age and the skirt hits her in the middle to lower part of her knee. The material is great. It's a dressier looking material with a some give in it. It was a little wrinkled but that's to be expected during shipping. I can't speak to longevity but if it holds up during the wash, this is a staple she could have in her closet for some time. Great quality for the price-just size down.

Quality is great. Nice thick fabric. Sharp pleats. Sturdy waistband and zipper. Decently heavy for colder weather, but not obnoxiously heavy for summer. There's also adjustable elastic inside the back waist to make it a bit tighter if needed, even on larger sizes. You can tell in the picture the pleats aren't sewn down, which means there's ample room if you have wider hips. It is long as advertised, and hits right below the knee on me (5'4"). Most pleated skirts are either micro length or too long. I'll end up hemming this since I want something above knee, but this hits exactly where I expected it to.I dropped one star as the sizing is somewhat inconsistent from the size chart. I was concerned after reading reviews it ran big and ordered a 14 (28" waist). It measured exactly 28" and was too small for my 32" waist. I then ordered a 16 (30" waist) and 18 (32" waist). The 16 actually measured 32" and the 18 measured 34". The 16 fit me just perfectly, the 18 was a bit big but easily fixed by adjusting the elastic. I decided to keep both since I liked having a bit of room on the 18 to tuck in a heavy sweater.Hopefully this helps someone else to make the right call on sizing!

Perfect fit

This little skirt was perfect! I bought it for my three year old for a performance she had. I got a size 4T but when I had her try it on it was too big. Then I noticed the adjustments on the inside of the skirt, I made the adjustments on the waist and it fit her perfectly. She received many complaints on this skirt. I’m very satisfied with the quality of this skirt. I’m sure it’ll last a very long time though many washes.

We were happy with the speedy delivery and the quality of the item, but the sizing is way off. We measured our daughter’s waist, hips etc and ordered accordingly. There was at least a 4 inch difference so if you order, buy at least 2 sizes down. We initially ordered a size 16, returned the item and land we are now ordering a size 12.

This skirt is very clean looking especially when getting the right size. I did size down based on other reviews. My daughter usually wears a size 12 in skirts but I bought 12 and an 8. The photo shows the size 8. The good thing is that the waist is adjustable. I am not usually a fan of polyester but I'm actually glad I bought this. Very preppy looking.Update on skirt:I washed the skirt and it lost its pleates. I don't know how to get the pleates back without taking the skirt to be dry cleaned. Based on the cost of the skirt I have been debating if I will just buy another skirt and only spot clean. The pleates ate a big deal to me, but please have a plan on how you will keep the pleated look after washing in the washing machine.

Niña alta en México usa talla 10 y le compré la falda talla 8 y le quedó perfecta sólo tuve que ajustar la cintura ya que es delgada. Vivimos en zona calurosa así que al ser tela no muy gruesa me parece bien. El color igual es muy bonito y no se decolora al lavarla.

Great skirt. Bought for school uniform. Looks nice. Comes to the knees. Feels well made and the the adjustable elastic waist is very helpful.
