Single Bed Nantucket Green Throwover & Pillowsham Bedspread Set Printed Floral Traditional Quilted Patchwork Scalloped Edge

This is a very nice Throwover and well made so it deserves the 5 stars for that, but I bought the single size for my standard single bed and it was so narrow that there was a gap of around 6 or 7 inches from the floor on each side. In fairness to this supplier I've had a look at others and they all seem to measure about the same, so I'm at a loss as to what kind of bed it is intended for. I intended to use this as a decorative cover to make my bed look attractive and so therefore it has to go over my duvet and it seems that no allowance is made for this. As a result I have returned it having paid postage to receive it and postage to return it and have since ordered and received a different bedcover from another supplier in double size which fits my bed so anyone out there with a 3 ft bed and a deep mattress may need to consider this if thinking of a single size. Changed my 5 stars to 4 because of postage charges

The second one I've bought. Really good size - used as a throw over a two seater settee in a "doggy" household, so never out of the wash - hence having two. Wash and dry a dream. Lovely muted "shabby chic" colours. Certainly doesn't look or feel like an all polyester product. Would look beautiful on a bed. Highly recommend.
