Nowhere does it say in the product page you need a large air compressor and tank for this to work or the requirements of it.

This pneumatic jewelry engraver is a powerhouse that makes engraving a breeze. It offers precision control, so I can create intricate designs without stressing over mistakes. The adjustable air pressure is a great feature, letting me fine-tune it for different pieces. The foot pedal keeps my hands free, which is fantastic for detailed work. On the downside, it’s loud—like mini jackhammer loud—and it takes up more space than I’d like. But for the accuracy and professional results, I’m willing to put up with the noise and bulk. If you’re serious about jewelry engraving, this tool will make you feel like a pro in no time.

Very powerful engraving tool. My wife has used this fro a few projects and it is one powerful machine. It's taking a bit to get used to all of the power, but she really loves it and is learning a lot as she goes.

I laser-engrave all kinds of jewelry and decided to try some manual engraving to complement that, so I am a novice when it comes to these machines. You will need an air source, and I have a compressor, so that was not an issue for me. Although I need more practice, the machine works pretty well, and I have had no issues so far. I do not have anything to compare it to, but the overall construction seems decent, but not what I would call pro-quality. It has been a great learning machine, though, and I would recommend it at least for that.

I have a laser engraver but really do not think it compares to the either hand or engraving machines like this one. It took me a while to be able to review this since I had to order a compressor. I really like the fact that it has 2 handpieces and adjustable rpm's. I have a jewelry and leather shop. A number of friends are engravers and they do top notch work so I am going to take some lessons from them since I am brand new to this so I have a lot to learn. I may revisit this review after I get a bit better at using the machine but so far I am very happy with it.

I had an air leak in the pedal, so I contacted the seller, who promised to send a replacement. After 18 days with no reply, I called Amazon and found out the seller never sent it, so I had to return the item. Later, the seller reached out, saying they were busy and would send a new one. It’s been 16 days now with no response, even though I’ve messaged them every two days. Very disappointing customer service. I suggest looking for a better option and not buying this one.
