It fits and works. What more can you ask?
Great replacement for the OEM knob. GE has a flawed design with these dryers. The metal shaft takes some torque to turn the knob, and it only goes counterclockwise. Problem is, the knob is plastic and plastic is softer than metal. The plastic knob will fail after so many cycles or if you try to turn it clockwise too many times. It’s not a matter of if, but when. This knob fits perfectly on the shaft and works as advertised.

Good Replacement
This item fight right on to my dryer with no problem!! I am by no means a handy person but I was able to slide it right on and not miss a beat with my laundry. It looks just like the original. Quality seems good however it is still new so hopefully it will hold up over time.
