The media could not be loaded.  The Good: - Grinds though 12 sheets of 20lb paper but with some effort. (see video). - Shredded a CD even though not specified it will with about same effort as 12 sheets of paper - The specs say it can run for 8 minutes with a 20 minute cool down. That seems plenty of time for small household use. Whether thats with continuous 20 sheet shredding is unknown and we did not test. - Pull out drawer for easy empty. - Staples were no problem in a 12 sheet shred. - The unit sits on lockable rollers - Good price point for 12 sheet shredder. - Can be oiled directly without having to buy expensive oiling sheets. Comes with 1 oiling sheet. - Small enough to fit conveniently under a desk to table.The Bad - Noisy. Measures about 85db from 1 meter which is about the same as a garbage disposal or food blender. If you watch the video and keep the volume on the noise is startling - Small basket. At 4.2 gallons the basket fills quickly to cause the fill light to indicate the the shredder to stop. One can easily compress the material and keep going without emptying. - The slot or throat is just 8.7" wide so inserting full 8.5" sheets can be annoying and cause it to fold over on itself causing more effort from the machine. - Requires oiling 2x month.Conclusion:Does the job and good price point if you dont mind the loud operation.

Great shredder. Super quiet for a shredder and I love the fact it doesn't use any electricity when it is not in use as most items that remain plugged in.

Good price. Works like it is supposed to work. I guess time will tell if it worth it. I had an old shredder that lasted 10 years at the house.

It's a little too small for office use. I have to dump the bin constantly. Also, it started squeaking after about 3 weeks of use. It squeaks loudly whenever I use it. It may not last too much longer.
