There is a lotion and there is a body wash. They are not the same so if you ordered the body wash but got the body lotion, they sent you the wrong item.

Q: Can you use the body wash on your face in your shower? shower

You can but depending on your skin it may be too much moisture. Ahava has other soap I would recommend for your face.
