I bought 4 of these for the family for outdoor sports! Football and baseball. We had the opportunity to use the blankets for baseball a few times, due to unseasonably cold and windy temps and also for rain. They work great for blocking cold wind and also kept us try when it rained. They roll up nicely and compact, taking up little space. The real test will be football if the weather ends up cold, windy, wet and snow, so will be testing for warmth. But if dressed appropriately for the season's weather I'm sure the blanket will add the extra protection! I'd recommend them! Don't let the light weight fool you. Bonus: an outdoor blanket to sit or lay on.

I bought it to protect the paint on my car from the nails of cats who enjoy jumping on it. It is very versitile as a hooded cozy blanket as well...lol.

My First impression in unpacking it, was that it is a very high-quality item. It is well made. The reason I ordered it is to keep it in my vehicle this winter. You never know what to expect traveling through the mountains. I Just want to be prepared in case of an any weather-related emergency. Being that it is waterproof and wind resistant are important features. The attached hood, pocket and storage bag complement it perfectly. After winter is over, it will be handy to take to the beach.

The product is great and large.

I used these blankets as a gift for our Scoutmaster and other Boy Scout Leaders for this Sunday at my son's Eagle Scout Ceremony. I embroidered the blankets with their names, titles, and troop # as a gift from him. They turned out great! I ordered an extra couple of blankets "just in case" and I plan to embroider them with the school emblem of where my son will attend college and keep them for those cold football games when we visit. I am not sure how waterproof they are now that I have punched a bunch of stitches (holes) into them, but they sure are cute!

I bought this to attend grandchildren's early season baseball games, when it's cold and sometimes drizzling. It works! Water proof and keeps the wind at bay. I almost wish it was a bit bigger!

My son started Lacross this year and they play rain or shine. W e spent one game under umbrellas cold wet amd miserable before I found these and said not again. Kept us dry and warm. Easy to hang dry and fold for next use!

Big enough for 4 people, comfortable and soft inside layer material, outside layer seems to be water resistant: not tested yet.Love it!
