These are comfortable as long as you don’t sleep on your side. You can still hear someone snoring by your side, but it’s muffled.

The stems are too small. They get stuck in my ears and I have to use a knife to pry them out. Do not buy.

Living near construction and needed something to help block out the noise. It does not block out the sound completely however it muffles it enough to sleep through the construction. They do hurt your ears after a while so you cannot sleep with them in all night.

Help with the noise and are comfortable
I use these in church when the music is too loud; which is nearly every week. They block enough of the decibels where I can still totally hear the music, but it's not uncomfortable or really sounding loud. They are VERY easy to put in and take out, that's one thing that makes them better than other earplugs. I have tried all sizes and shapes of the foam style but they're inconsistent in how they help with the noise level and are irritating to get the right position in the ear. Not to mention, you have to wait for them to fill out once they are in, to see if they have a good block or not. These are much faster, easier, and more comfortable. I don't feel them at all. I could also wear them at night for blocking the snoring.....but I have another pair that I am still using for the night; I might just replace them with these if these are less costly. I have had the others for some time and they do the job but sometimes I need tweezers to get them out because I cut off the long end that was to grab. With sleeping, I couldn't have that part sticking out so far, it hurt my ear. I think these, with the round end, would work better for sleeping but really like having them in my purse, in their little case.

Ear plugs are not any good for noise reduction
Ear plugs are not any good for noise reduction. They do not provide any reduction in the ambient noise in a room. They should work well for a swimmer to keep water out of you ear canals. Tried them in the shower as a test and i did not get any water in my ears when Ilet the water spay directly onto my ears. I retuned them because i needed them for noise reduction.
