No doubt it could use more handles than only the one on top. Bottom bumpers are annoyingly too short so bag leans forward and falls over far too easy (see photo). Better design would have been to put a handle with taller profile on bottom of bag in place of short bumpers. Really liked side pockets for flippers that fit 2 pair. Roomy! Sturdy pull handle and wheels. Nice colors, easily distinguishable at baggage claim.

Used on one dive trip so far. Seems sturdy enough, light, and just the right size for summer gear and clothes. But, it only has one handle, on the top, which makes it difficult to lift once full. Perhaps the manufacturer intended the two straps across the top to be used as handles, but they aren't very effective, as witnessed by the fact that the airline baggage handlers tried to use them and only ended up loosening them both. Would be five stars if there was a handle on the bottom.

The baggage handlers ripped the external straps right out of the seam they were sewn into on the first trip I made with this bag. I would have thought that Akona would be able to design a sturdy bag for dive gear considering how long they have been at it but that's not the case. Overpriced junk!

I have now used this bag for the last two years. I have been to Fiji and Hawaii with it. It still looks great. I am able to fit all my dive gear in this bag and still get under the 50 lbs weight limit. Reg, Octo, BC, Computer, Fins, Wetsuit, boots, and I still have room for some of my clothes. I have nothing but praise for this bag.
