511B "Symphony" Tenor Recorder,Black

I really enjoy playing this recorder. A bit fiddly to get used to the lower right hand position, but comes with practise and you need to line the keys up carefully, so that they will be in the correct position for your fingers when you reach for them.I love the throaty, husky tone of this recorder. Only slight negative, is that it needs 'clearing' more frequently than other recorders I have.

Lovely resonant lower register, and the higher notes are not difficult to achieve but not of the same quality. I played the clarinet and this is my second tenor recorder, but I still found it a bit difficult to stretch to all of the finger positions, and, despite a few weeks practice, I still can't reliably hit bottom C. However that's maybe down to my ineptness rather than the instrument, but whatever, be aware there is a learning curve. I have the Aulos Haka descant and treble recorders and they are excellent, this one is maybe more difficult to get right as, while it is a definite improvement on my last tenor, I don't think it's quite up to that standard.

I'm enjoying using this recorder but somehow the lower notes go off-key more than the higher ones. Perhaps I need to be playing it for a long time before I'm able to make these lower notes consistent.

I really enjoy playing the recorder and like most people who play the Descant C recorder I have also bought the Tenor recorder as its the same finger positions and an easy transition into a new sound. I have the Aulos 311 and this 511E and the 511 is amazing - I love everything about it. The build quality is great for a resin recorder and the sound is superb. You get in the pack - the recorder with double keys (for low C and C#), thumb rest, cleaning rod and joint grease. Make sure you use the joint grease - it really does make a difference. The recorder is comfortable to hold (when you get used to the size) and the mouth piece is a comfortable shape. I would highly recomend this model to anyone looking to get a Tenor recorder.

Ce n'est pas une mauvaise flûte, elle est assez juste, légère, monte bien dans l'aigu et son prix et tout à fait raisonnable.Les trous ne sont pas trop espacés, et avec un peu d'habitude et une bonne position des mains, les notes les plus graves sortent sans trop de soucis. La sonorité est puissante et un peu creuse comme avec la plupart des instruments de ce rang. Malheureusement elle a une tendance à la condensation comme la plupart des flûtes en plastique. Il faut donc prendre la précaution de réchauffer la tête avant de jouer.Je l'ai achetée comme "flûte de voyage", sa simplicité et son matériau la rendant à peu près indestructible, y compris dans le coffre d'un véhicule abandonné en plein soleil au mois d'août, ou sous la pluie, ou par temps de givre, ou tout ce que vous voudrez. L'absence de clés est alors un vrai plus dans ces cas extrêmes ! Pouvoir jouer en pleine nature n'est plus un rêve ... mais peut devenir un cauchemar pour les autres ! lol Soyons prudents !

Sehr gut und wichtig ist für mich, dass diese Aulos problemlos die höchstmöglichen Töne, also oberhalb des hohen a noch das h, das c und und das hohe d erreicht. Das schaffen längst nicht alle Kunststoffflöten, z. B. die Classic Cantabile Tenor, -die ich auch habe-, schafft das auch nicht.Sehr angenehm ist bei der Aulos 211A die kurze Mensur, da diese Tenorflöte ohne Klappen auskommt. Hier kann man länger spielen, ohne dass die rechte Hand durch das Spreizen der Finger mit der Zeit schmerzt. Diese Probleme treten bei kleineren Fingern bei einerTenorflöte mit Klappen eher auf.Ich spiele auch die Aulos Tenorflöte 511B (mit Klappen), die wahrscheinlich noch etwas besser und bei den unteren Tönen kräftiger klingt, sie kostet dafür mit ca. 110 Euro auch deutlich mehr. Die 511B hat jedoch den großen Nachteil, dass das Drücken der Klappen für das tiefe f, das tiefe d und das tiefe c so geräuschvoll ist, dass ich -und auch die Flötenlehrerin- es als recht störendes Nebengeräusch empfinden. Diesen Nachteil hat man bei der 211A nicht.

Le gabarit surprend quand vous n'avez jamais eu, comme moi, une flûte ténor. Cela m'a donné l'impression d'une flûte de collège en version XXL.Il faut tout de même de grandes mains et/ou de longs doigts, les trous sont aussi plus grands (forcément) et l''espace à couvrir pour l'ensemble aussi.La sonorité est très bonne, même surprenante pour du plastique. Mais un modèle bois commence à 800.00 €, aussi, je voulais juste me divertir.En ce qui me concerne, il me faut la coupler avec une flûte classique, les aigus sont plus facile à maîtriser.

Livraison soignée avec housse à zip, baguette d'écouvillon et repose-pouce à clipser. Parfait pour avoir une flute accordée en toute circonstance (humidité, froid, chaleur) et qui condense moins vite que du bois. Position de la main droite un peu crispante mais... pour plus de confort il existe le même modèle avec une clé ! En revanche, le plastique fait bien plastique (marron, lisse et uni)
