I love this. Excellent quality. Just as nice as Hydroflask, if not better. The matte black color is awesome and Urban Oasis logo cool. Keeps hot and cold temperatures very well.

Vaccum insulated water bottles seem to be all the rage and everywhere I look people have ditched water bottles in favor of travelers that keep water hot or cold for long periods of time. I think in my household we have something on the order of 3 of these types of insulated tumblers for every per person and pet in my house. In other words, it's hard to stand out from the crowd.The Urban Oasis Vaccum Insulated Container is a perfectly fine water or drink bottle that seems to do exactly what it's built for with no issues. I've been using this cup for the better part of two weeks and I really have no complaints. I use this cup to keep at my desk on days I work from home and just keep ice water within arms reach. I have a lot of computer equipment and stuff on my desktop so I like the sealing lid. The inconvenience of having to twist of the lid is definitely outweighed by the fact that my clumsiness won't result in wet electronics. I like that the outer shell is plastic and doesn't condensate or transfer energy all that much.I have the 18oz. bottle and if anything I'd recommend sizing up especially if you're going to use this bottle for ice water. The UO bottle does a great job keeping my water cold and if nothing else I've refilled the cup far ahead of the ice inside melting.One minor gripe - I'm not a fan of the graphics or text on this cup at all. Just personal taste. Not a big deal since this cup stays in my house but there it is. Other than that, nice bottle.

So for the basic review, it's a water bottle, it holds water pretty effectively.From a more detailed perspective... I love it. I've carried standard Nalgenes for years, but after cranking out two small kids under two, it was time to shift to something smaller. Sure, I love being able to tote around an entire half day's worth of water at one time, but I started to find some severe mobility restrictions with the standard quart bottle given that my children mistake me for their Sherpa in their journey through life.The bottle has done extremely well as a multipurpose water bottle and I'm honestly amazed that it hasn't been dented or scratched. It functions well in terms of holding liquids at temperature for several hours (although cold works tremendously better than hot). I haven't had issues with lingering tastes or odors after using the bottle for liquids other than water.Bottom line: A sleek little bottle that keeps your beverage hot or cold while providing a quality seal that prevents leaks in your bag or purse.

This is a nice little well I'm not sure what you call it... Is is a mug or a thermos? It's really to small to be a thermos even though it will keep your liquid cold or hot for a while. So here is what I don't like about it as a mug:The mouth is to small. Trying to drink out of it the tip of my nose hits the other side. It's not like I have the nose of Steve Martin in Roxanne...You have to unscrew the lid every time you want to open it whether filling it or drinking.No quick open drinking spout.No hook or anything so you could attach it to say a bag or backpack.The inside smells like chemicals.It is supposed to be BPA free.It's hand wash only so you can't give it a good wash to remove the smell.Made in China.

This looks just like my Hydro Flask -- which is a very popular brand in this product category -- though the Urban Oasis version is cheaper. Comparing 18oz models, the Urban Oasis is more rounded off at the bottom and ultimately slightly taller. Otherwise, there is no discernible difference. The Urban Oasis 18oz fits well in cup holders and keeps my drinks cold. I do not have any alternate lids, but I imagine that Hydro Flask parts would also be compatible with Urban Oasis containers of the same size.I really do not like the company logo on the bottle. That may not be important to you, but it is to me.

This is a great water bottle and has several features that make it better than the competition. First, it is very simple. No straws or mouth pieces to get moldy. Just unscrew the lid and drink. Second, the material is metal. No worrying about chemicals leaching from plastics. Third, it is insulated so keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for at least a couple hours or so. Besides functionality, the look is sleek. This is a great water bottle I will use for a long time. While the life of others is cut short by moldy parts, there isn’t really anything to cut down the life of this bottle.
