Its bean coffee so it needs ground. Which i enjoy because its fresh with every cup! Excellent coffee, the flavor is bold, yet has earthy, chocolate undertones. Use it in my home espresso machine. Will continue to buy and try other types by Sweet Caffeine

I’m usually not someone to leave reviews one way or the other but I had to for this! It’s my second time purchasing now and I just absolutely love it! It was recommended by a friend the first time, and once I finished my bag I had to come and buy again! It’s so worth it! You can really taste the quality of the coffee, the difference between this and regular stuff you get from a supermarket is night and day, it’s really opened my eyes to what a good cup of coffee should be. I’m never going back. Great product! Cannot recommend enough!

I accidentally ordered the light roast, I am usually a medium dark roast drinker. But I figured light roast generally has more caffeine so why not give it a try? This was surprisingly pleasant. The beans are definitely on the blonde side, and they grind well. In the cup the coffee is definitely a lighter shade than I am used to, but that also allowed me to use much less cream and sugar than I normally would, so probably a healthier cup of coffee in the long run. The flavor is light and fruity, with a little bit of acidity, but very little bitterness. I did not get any of the chocolate notes they advertised in the title of the product. It pairs well with cream and sugar, and also very easy to drink black.The price is definitely on the higher end, this is only a 12 ounce bag not a full pound (coffee manufacturers don't think we will notice that the size of a bag of coffee has been going down from 16 ounces to 14 ounces and now to 12 ounces in shrinkflation), so at $18.99 for 12oz, this is a bit on the pricier side at over $25/lb.

Great coffee! reminds me of my time living in Colombia drinking fresh coffee.

The pluses are that the beans ground up very nicely and the brewing was fine, not weak or watery. Unfortunately I thought the aroma was not the best, kind of lacking that fresh bean coffee fragrance. The taste was a bit to bitter and stale to me, nothing exceptional about this coffee, tasted very ordinary. Was kind of like a diner/restaurant cup of coffee, just bland.

This has a very nice full coffee aroma. It seems to me that it doesn't have the dark chocolatey flavor that many espresso/dark roast coffees have, but it has an intense coffee flavor with the characteristic nutty-bitterness of dark roast coffee, and with little acidity. I brew mine pour-over style with a medium grind, and the coffee is smooth and works very well with a dash of cream.
