The CRAFTSMAN CMHT68001 is manufactured in China.

The extendable shank on the screwdriver will not loosen and I cannot move up extendable part up or down. I was able to do it before. Any suggestions?

Pull the black knurled ring around the shank towards the handle to extend it out or retract it.

The magnetic 3-position extension bit will not come out. Is there a trick to this or is it permanently in place?

Pull or push on the extension while attempting to slide the collar down. Believe me once you get it the first time. It is very easy from then on.

Is the tip of the driver magnetic? As in holding in the top of screw
