At the current price for a king ($209.00 as of 5/15/24), I wouldn't recommend this duvet insert. It's really thin for that price! Yes, when you add a duvet cover, you will add a bit of warmth, but I'm not paying for that in the initial price. The product photo makes it look fluffy, but when I spread it out to fold into the cover, it's almost flat. I did end up putting the cover on and trying it, but outside of Spring and Fall, it's not going to get used. It has too much warmth for an all-seasons blanket, and not enough for a winter blanket. Unless they bring the price down quite a bit, I would get another duvet.

This comforter is very fluffy and very warm. It's definitely not a four-season comforter; I'll have to switch to a thinner comforter soon. But in the winter, this is all I need to stay warm at night. I machine washed it and dried it in the drier before using it, and am using a linen duvet cover to protect it. This is the thickest and coziest comforter I have ever owned.

This is a good compromise if you don't like the "crinkle" of cotton-encased duvets. It is a poly-cotto blend cover. You do need to fluff it in the dryer with a few tennis balls after removing it from the package for it to poof up but then it's very soft and warm. No weird feather sticking out issues.I like that it has the ties on corners and sides to keep the duvet anchored correctly within its cover.No funky odors and as I said, it's very warm and cozy. I think it is a little bit overpriced but the best duvets tend to cost a little more.

I guess they use an expensive material but it’s not fluffy at all compared to other comforters. It also doesn’t stay in the cover properly whether you tie it or not.

This duvet is 850 FP. FP stands for “fill power” and is a standard industry measurement of fluffiness. The higher the number the lighter and fluffier the fill. According to Dwell magazine, FP 700 is high. This duvet is FP 850. It is expertly made and very fluffy. It fits my king-size duvet covers perfectly.The fabric covering is a white tight-weave blend to contain the down. The stitching and box pattern are luxurious looking and feeling. This duvet would fit right in at any five-star hotel.The package included the duvet/comforter in a vacuum-sealed bag. It needs time to regain its fluff. It can be placed in a dryer with no heat to restore it more quickly.Care requires spot or dry cleaning only, according to the manufacturer,I like that the down is ethically sourced and it has the Oeko-Tex certification that states the duvet doesn’t contain any harmful substances.I also like that this king-size duvet includes eight attachment points. Large duvets need eight attachment points, one at each corner plus one in the middle of each side to better prevent shifting inside the cover.Now we can imagine we are sleeping in a luxury hotel bed every night. I absolutely loved the quality and breathability of the fabric, The weight and size is perfect and the corners really came in handy! It doesn't make noise like other brands, just what I need for my bed. It is so luxurious and it feels like sleeping on a cloud. Fluffed up nicely after a few hours when I took it out of all the box.Overall, I am very happy with this comforter and i do recommend it 👍🏼
