Needed a 14mm extractor to remove a rounded rather soft steel oil fill plug on my 2020 Subaru Outback. I tried everything to remove it to no avail. The 14mm extractor in this kit removed the bolt quickly, easily, and cleanly. No problem. I felt so fortunate it came out with this extractor. Expensive trip to the mechanic averted. You should have this kit in your tool selection before it is needed. Buy one and have it on hand when needed. You will not be sorry. Best 20 busks you will ever spend....

Doing the 1st oil change myself on my 2014 Chrysler Town and Country van after the one the dealership did at purchase was a real challenge. This is what I found. A stripped head on the oil pan drain bolt, with no way to get it out with a socket or channel locks or small pipe wrench, I purchased these bolt extractors and within 5 minutes it was no longer a problem. I did my oil change and replaced the bolt with a new one from the auto parts store. These saved me $140.00 from having the dealer remove it and then do the oil change. I can see this kit already paid for itself with one use and many more ahead on other projects. I definitely recommend these extractors for the do-it-yourselfer or backyard mechanic.
