The birds love it , I painted it blue !

This little feeder is great for most small/med size birds. It will need to be painted though. I attached to a 4"x4" wood post and has been working well for months.

Once built, the wooden feeder definitely became cute. However, it was advertised as "easy installation," but a few problems ensued during construction. The premade screw holes weren't deep enough to accommodate the screws themselves so we needed to make the holes deeper. The baffles to hold the seed in place were advertised as being clear as the picture appeared in Amazon's catalogue. Our plastic baffles came painted white so the seed couldn't be seen by the birds nor by us as we needed to see when to refill the feeder. And the two suet side cages were so flimsy, they couldn't hold the suet itself so we purchased two plastic cages to hold the suet on the sides. Once again, it is a darling wooden feeder but it just required way too much time to put together.

The feeder was very easy to assemble. Pieces fit perfectly.

This really is not a very good feeder. It is poorly made with misaligned screw holes and screw anchors which just spin when the screw is inserted.The crap chinese construction was also wrong as they stapled the suit holder to the side where the glass was to go. Really dumb but an easy fix as it is just cheap chicken wire.I will keep it as I have thrown the box away but I would not buy again and I won't recommend anyone else does either. I don't expect it to last more than one winter

I didn't realize that I had to assemble the birdfeeder. But, the pieces were nicely packaged and all the pieces were pre-drilled smooth and assembly was a breeze. A total of 10 provided screws and even came with a screwdriver! I think it took me with, never having done before, a total of less than 15 minutes to complete. Make sure to get suet cakes, not provided, for the provided cages on the ends the birds seem to love them. Build quality, appearance, and solid construction are great. Will purchase another soon.
