You can only adjust volume on some of the alarms but not others. And there is actually no mode for both ultrasonic noise and the flashing lights, which is the whole reason I bought this. I needed this for my deck but can’t have it blaring at fully volume as that would startle my dogs into barking. This was junk for that purpose. This also works both day and night and has no way of setting it so it only works at night, which is super annoying for me and my dogs when we are out during the day.

Said to myself today, no way can it be a perfect 5 stars, someone won’t at all like that and sure enough, and just now I see another unable to understand how to correctly adjust the thing giving it 1 star LoL. Point being it works as all before stated, so thought to add.

I've had an issue with woodpeckers destroying my siding for years! I have tried a lot of "tried and true remedies" which of course didn't work for very long! This really works! The woodpeckers set off the motion detector and it frightens the birds away! I bought one to see if it would work, and when I saw that it was really keeping the birds away, I came back and bought a second one. If I need to purchase a third one to make sure the entire house is covered, I will! So totally worth it!

If you have a problem with birds, BUY this. We have tried everything there is to get rid of birds that were nesting in the top of our house. We have an A-frame with almost all windows on the front. The birds were pooping on our windows daily. Our deck was so nasty from it that I hated for my grandson to get on it. It did not matter if you washed it daily, they would do it again the next day. Since we bought this, the birds will not come near it. They try flying over the top of it but as soon as they start down it goes off and they leave. This is the best money I have ever spent. Love, Love, Love it!

Bought two and installed one in the front lawn (this is the cat poo problem area) and one in the back garden. It's been 1 week and no poo on the front lawn Yay! I've seen the cats in the back garden but they tend to walk at the perimeter or just outside of the sensor area. Happy for now and I'll do an up date in a few months.

I cover my deck boat when its stored in my yard, but the stern end near the outboard cant be sealed well, and one night a raccoon got up into it, chewed up some seats and pissed all over. After cleaning up and repairing things, I tried this unit outside of my boat near the stern, but i had the siren set to a audible and ultrasonic tone and a neighbor didn't like it as it was loud enough to wake him at night. I ended up setting it to just ultrasonic and with a flashing strobe light, and putting it on the back of the boat under the cover, and one night the scream of a raccoon woke me up when it tried to get on my boat and the unit ran it off very successfully ( it must have gotten startled just as it triggered it) It works great.

Had doubts about this but had reached a point of needing to try something other than sprays to keep Doves off outdoor deck rail where they constantly made a mess that required constant cleaning. To my surprise this has worked like a charm. It was easy to set up and required experimenting with different settings. Took about a week to 10 days before it really was effective.
