The panel, mount and cord seem to be well constructed. The long cord facilitated a satisfactory position for the panel as the camera is on the north side of the house. It charges with indirect light which is a big plus on cloudy days and when it is not receiving direct sunlight. Hopefully this will reduce or eliminate the need to take the camera inside for charging. Initial reaction: very pleased.

I have both and the Arlo charger does not produce as much power as this one. This one keeps the camera charged better but you still need lots of direct sunlight if you don’t ever wanna have to charge the camera.

Easy to install, mount and position. Love that I'm no longer needing to take out our Arlo camera every month or so to recharge. Its been a wet and cold winter but the solar charges without fail. This definitely makes my life easier and these are a lot cheaper than the Arlo solar panels. Only con is the wire is hard to hide for a cleaner look. Other than that, I haven't had any issues so I highly recommend these!

Could never get this working, Not sure if I hooked it up wrong or what but it never got it working

In the rainy conditions in this state, I just could not get enough power out of this cell.It was not able to keep the camera running more then a few hours and I had it in the highest light I could get.This needs more sunlight than I could get in my location in winter, in summer the results would be better.

Product works fine but the quality of the components are not the best and don't know if it will stand the test of time. For the price, why am I complaining?

I'm so glad I decided to get this. Yes it adds an stinking cord to my house that I hate but I am so glad not to have to bring out the step ladder and climb up to get the camera battery to charge it anymore! It charged 22 percent in 4 hours ish. Doesn't sound like much but it was enough and keeps it topped off so I don't have to charge it. Nice looking panel and would recommend.

These are amazing. I read other reviews on other panels that made me not expect much out of these but I still decided to put them to the test when I got them.I had one camera that was charged nearly full and another that had been dead for couple of weeks. I hooked everything up which was very simple. Within minutes the dead camera came to life. After 2.5 hours I checked to see how much it had charged. It was up to 25%. The next day was overcast skies but the camera worked all day and night. The following day was a very sunny day and my camera completely charged solely with the solar panel.When the battery reaches a certain level of charge it stops charging. Then when it drops again to a certain point, it’ll start charging again.I live in a basement house so I didn’t have to go through too much trouble to get these up. The roof is almost perfectly facing south and receives sun for the entirety of the day in the winter. In the summer it receives sun through the morning and afternoon. The sun in the summer is stronger so plan around winter sun patterns more so than summer.For the price these panel are more than worth it (if they have some longevity). I was very fed up with my Arlo cameras not holding charge and half the time I’d forget for days even weeks to charge them. Now I don’t have to worry about them.I’ll be buying more panels to accompany any future Arlo cameras I buy.
