This extra large ramen bowl does actually hold 64oz!
If you want an extra large ramen bowl like you get at some restaurants, this will be what you’re looking for. I used a large measuring cup to fill the bowl up to the brim and it does actually hold 64 liquid ounces. With so much over capacity, I never need to worry about soup broth sloshing out. The bowl has a smooth, but slightly textured glaze for a pleasant appearance. The bowl bottom is smooth so you don’t need to worry about it scratching your table. More of an everyday quality bowl than an artisan quality bowl and thus only four stars.

Beautiful and well made!
We are so pleased with these bowls! We bought 2 with the intention of using them for ramen. They are big enough to hold a serving of ramen, toppings, and plenty of broth without being in danger of sloshing over the sides when we carry them upstairs. The bowls are well made and the glaze is gorgeous and even. The weight is excellent: not too heavy, not too light. I was concerned that they would be very heavy due to their size, but they are are just right. If we need pho or ramen bowls again in the future we will most definitely be ordering more of these!!

May not be from Japan
Bowl arrived intact. It's lighter in weight than I expected. I'm disappointed that there are no manufacturer markings annotated country of origin. If you're looking for Japanese quality this may not be it. I'm not saying I know its not from japan. What I'm saying is, other than the product page, there really isn't any way to tell from the bowl.

Thick, durable, but not too heavy
Love the looks, the feel, and the size - holds around 80 ounces. Purchased a few months ago and it is holding up quite well

Beautiful, well-made bowls
These bowls look and feel very well-made. They are plenty deep enough to allow extra space for ramen dishes and toppings without having to worry about spilling. The shape and finish of them is very beautiful and unique. The finish on the inside of the bowls reminds me of a dark granite countertop.

Looks great, solid
I like the weight -- not too light, not too heavy. This is just what I wanted: a bowl that's bigger than a normal bowl, so I can fit ramen in it, without being ridiculously large.

Takes a beating in microwave. Didn't crack despite pouring in boiling water. Deep and steep.
