The Launch CRP123 v2.0 car diagnostic scanner is a reliable tool for both professional mechanics ( not for very detailed use though, it is a lower level tool really but good for this level ) and DIY enthusiasts. A brilliant device for identifying and resetting those annoying engine warning lights that occasionally drive you nuts by popping up and remaining lit up on your car dashboard.I had an "engine management" amber light pop up on my Mercedes C Class Cabriolet 220CDI due to me continually cold starting it on a low battery charge over lockdown. This device not only quickly identified the issue but allowed me to remove the warning notification - Something that otherwise would have required a trip (& cost) at the main dealer. Brilliant.Simple to use. It just plugs in the OBD port under the dashboard and then scans the engine management system for any fault notifications. You then can store that information and choose whether to erase the warning on the dash. Obviously if you do that, make sure it's safe to do so and contact your service centre to be sure everything is right on your car if it's a serious fault / warning. Mine was was just carbon spots due to cold starting.There are of course cheaper devices available but if you have a recent model car and want a simple and easy to use device that quickly gets the job done, I think this is probably the one to choose as it also has the facility to regularly update the software to make sure most, if not all, vehicles are covered including very recent models which many of the other devices don't. 100% recommended

Connectivity to internet good & speed/fault code detection excellent. Intuitive selections could be improved, but you can get used to this after a while. Good value for money.

Good bit of kit, excellent build quality and easy to use interface. I had to return mine as it wasn't fit for my requirements.

I have now been using this scanner for a few months it continues to impress me. I know more expensive models and makes go into infinite detail and allow functions to be tested from the scanner but these are ridiculously expensive and too much detail is confusing. I have not found a problem yet that this scanner cannot diagnose or remove after the repair is complete. I would think only professional garages would need more. I believe that this scanner is great value.

Many scanners wouldn't even talk to my 2021 jaguar, Autel to snap on machines no good. Plugged this Launch scanner in and it talks to it and performs service light resets and lots of other functions, I would definitely recommend this product.

Bought this rubbish in April, connected to my ford fusion and it worked. Tried it on my 2006 fiat and it wouldn’t pick it up ! Tried it on a mates Vauxhall and again failed. Then tried it on a Skoda Roomster and once again nothing ? Only used it 5 or 6 times and tried it again the other day and the screen locked. Got in touch with the manufacturer on the link for issues and they just said contact the seller !!! But no contact details ? Called customer services fir Amazon and the lady I spoke with was great and it’s now being returned. This has totally put me off buying another obd device. Absolutely do not buy this pile of rubbish

After having never ending DPF issues with previous vehicle and buying a 2011 Honda CRV and within 3 days DPF light came on.At my wits end I found a video on YouTube about this product. After abit of hesitation due to price I purchased this machine and thought if it doesn’t work I’ll return it.Absolute joy when this little machine cleared the issue with a forced regen. If I get 3 regens then the machine has paid for itself.I’m by far a mechanic but fairly practice.The machine worked effortless for me and guided me through the necessary set up procedure perfectly.It didn’t manage to auto read my particular VIN but I just manually put it in.Machine arrived next day after order , put to work day after that and I was absolutely over the moon.So far I can’t fault this handy little bit of kit as has out a brighter outlook on a problem that haunts me during winter months when I’m not covering as many miles as I do in the spring summer.This is the first review I’ve ever done on Amazon but thought it necessary to help others that have been in my predicament.Initially outlay may seem daunting but if it continues to get the result I’ve experienced so far then I can assure you it’s a worth while investment to save hassle of visiting a garage everytime.Brilliant !!!!
