World's Smartest Child Monitor with Smile Detection works with Amazon Alexa Show

First, it is really plug and play and really to use.There is a great video quality(both live and recording), face recognition is really cool with stranger alarm feature (you can name the faces you want and if someone else appears at the household you are alarmed: mind-blowing).I love the summary videos, very useful to catch up.. we watch our babysitter and our dog from our iPhones when we are not home and so far this device is helpful.. We keep the default setting for the notification but you may wanna check out to increase the motion and noise detection levels though if you want to get notified with push notifications about what's going on more often.

Great device for working parents. Working great on my Android mobile phone and iOS tablet. Face recognition and notifications are perfect to always keep an eye on the household if you just know your babysitter. End of the day short summary videos is useful to keep up with your baby's day.

For a two-hundred dollar camera, the build is extremely cheap. There is also an ugly logo on the front of the camera, which is not shown in the image or description. The app is okay but a little laggy. In fact, the video has about a 5-10 seconds lag. The microphone picks up a lot of noise. Again, for a two-hundred dollar camera, I would expect much better build and performance.

Avoid avoid avoid!!!! This piece of garbage won’t even connect to its own application.It is a complicated, painful procedure in which you have to scan a QR code that the camera won’t see you for nearly 10 minutes.Then, after several resets, I finally got it to see the QR code, only for it not to connect to my wireless network.I would have smashed it into 1 million pieces out of frustration, if not for the fact that I had to return this poor excuse for a wireless video monitor to get my money back.

I believe this may be the easiest camera to install and use. took about a minute in total to set it up and may be another minute to make choices about its settings. That is it. It is designed entirely for non-tech savvy people, with a need for such an elegant solution. It is a high quality user experience and does what it says...Simple and useful..

I purchased this as a baby shower present for a friend through Kickstarter. I (and my friend) have been very pleased with it. There is a slight video delay, but I imagine the video goes through a cloud in order to determine if an event (motion/sound/face detection) has occurred, thus providing you with the clips of said event. It hasn't been a big enough issue to be a deal breaker. It has quite a wide field of view, allowing it to monitor a great deal of even the smallest of rooms. Face detection is pretty good. At first it just captures all the faces it sees and you have to go in and identify/label them, but eventually it learns and is able to label the faces itself. Sound and picture are good quality, especially night vision. You can talk through the app by holding the microphone button and the sound comes out of the monitor. The only thing I haven't seen that was included in the Kickstarter promo video is the lullaby option when the baby cries. It also monitors temperature, humidity, and air quality. It also has a backup battery so you can unplug it and move it to another room without it turning off. I don't think it has the capacity to leave it unplugged for a significant amount of time, though.In full disclosure, I have had a couple issues with the device (one with setup, another with a firmware update), but customer support has been top notch and friendly.I will upload photos and screenshots once I get permission from the mother.

I bought the camera through Invidyo's kickstarter campaign. Overall I am pleased with the camera and it does exactly what is says on the tin.Understandably with any new product there will be teething issues, however Invidyo was very quick to resolve them. Picture quality is good, and the microphone picks up everything however the sensitivity can be adjusted. As a baby monitor it's great and can see it doubling up as a security camera easily. The app is easy to use but the facial recognition needs improvement as it doesn't pick up faces accurately.It is expensive and would certainly consider buying another one if it was cheaper.
