A fine bedside or desk lamp
Having been a satisfied customer for a previous model of lamp from this company, they have asked me to review this new model. The obvious difference is the interesting 'knobbly' flexible stem which seems to be extremely flexible as well as sturdy and an improvement on the earlier swan-neck style. I would still have liked this stem to be slightly longer to make the light a little higher on my bedside table.The base is a good size with the weight low down to make it very stable. The led bulbs are covered with a frosted plastic screen that acts like a diffuser to give a pleasant light without shadows but maybe reduces the brightness a little.This would make an excellent bedside lamp or a nightlight on the lowest brightness setting. It would also be fine as a desk light.Being rechargeable it does not need to be permanently plugged in. This means it can be used even when there is no convenient electric socket.The lamp looks good and will fit in well with modern decor. It looks well made too.Delivery from China was amazingly quick - less than a week!
