Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover for Women, Rose Gold Electric Face Razor with LED Light, Recyclable Packaging

I LOVE this hair remover! It doesn’t irritate my face or cause ingrown hairs like razors do. I have used it on my arms and armpits as well and it’s battery has been going strong for a while now. I like it so much that I’m going to be getting their leg hair trimmer as well.

I am fortunate to have blonde hair so I haven’t had any issues with unflattering facial hair previously. Now that I’m getting a little bit older, some of that hair is coming in darker and there’s more of it so I needed to do something. I was unsure how close this would get or if it would be painful, but it works like a charm. It’s very easy to use, gentle and remove the hair for about a week.

Is this a "flawless" product? No, there are definitely flaws. But neither is it a worthless product. So this was hard to rate.Lemme preface my review by saying that I am an amateur crossdresser (not a drag queen tho). As such, when I shave, I shave my face, arms, armpits, legs, chest, and often around the pubic areas. And no, they don't all have the same thickness. So believe me when I say this got a pretty heavy test.My initial rating of this product was not great. It has a weak motor and I don't particularly like the battery power aspect of it (half of the battery powered things we have seem not to work, as batteries tend to leak or fail at the worst times), and I tried it on the face where my thickest hairs tend to be. I wound up having to shave first, and then switched to my hand where it began to strip peach fuzz and long thin hairs off. "Okay," I said, "maybe this is only for women's hair or finishing up on pre-shaved hairs." But I tried again, and after awhile, I got the hang of how this works. It requires a few passes meaning you can't exactly do the one hour shaving before church thing. It is however fairly battery efficient, so I managed to shave my face, both arms, both legs, and the area in between the legs. In each area, after a fashion, I got silky smooth skin like I'd just waxed it or something. But of course, there are issues. It requires a lot of swift passes to do this, it requires opening the top quite a few times, and there's a fatal flaw. Occasionally, hair becomes lodged in the upper part of razor and basically stops the motor. When that happens, the light comes on, but there is no sound of the thing turning, and no hairs are cut. This happened about three times.Had I not had the proper tools handy (some tweezers and a screwdriver for glasses) this would have been a much much lower score. As it was, it was about a half-hour cleaning job each time.If Finishing Touch were smart, they would build a rechargeable version of this rather than just the battery operated one. And maybe make a small opening so hairs that are cut can be more easily forced outside.As such, I didn't exactly throw my old razors away, since I worried this might fail. But I got such a smooth comfortable shave (even on that infamously sensitive surface between my legs) that I didn't use the other razors after that initial shave on my face.

Absolutely awesome! Couldn't do without it. I highly recommend it. It's the only thing you'll need...no cream hair removal, no razors... and it fits in your purse for quick touch-ups.

Love, love, love Flawless. I have been using these for many years now and had to replace one because the head got lost. They made a couple of design upgrades on this newer model and I like it even more. Easier to clean out without the blades falling out of the head. Every woman post-menopause needs one of these, even if you think you don't! Nobody is going to tell you that your face is getting furry, or that you have a chin hair, or a mustache that looks like Tom Selleck... but you probably do! This takes care of it all painlessly without hair growing back harder or thicker. I promise. My 17 year old daughter uses it weekly too. Just don't use it on your underarms. Ouch.

Take it from a PCOS girl who has been shaving her face every few days since she was 15-16...GET THIS! I expected it to work to some degree but didn't quite believe the painless part. YALL. It feels like nothing! Maybe once or twice I felt a teeny tiny "pinch" but nothing I would consider pain-akin to a super light static shock. And the pinch is from the hair being removed, I should say, not the device pinching me. A razor is technically painless, but I have acne scars on my cheeks from where acne has congregated over the years from irritation and just general razor bacteria. And those eye brow razors HURT on the cheeks! Maybe it's just me, but I cant use it anywhere but the eyebrows. This device is the best of both worlds- no pain like a razor and no deep skin irritation like a straight eyebrow razor (although I have to go over it so much with those eyebrow razors, I wouldnt be surprised if irritation started too) I cant imagine this irritating my skin at all. It got everything, even my peach fuzz! I expect to need to use it every couple days, but thats the fault of my hair growth speed, not the device. And with how easy and gentle it is, I will be much happier using this several times a week than a razor. I love it is battery operated so I dont need to remember to charge it. Super easy to clean too. Best purchase in a long time!
