Very impressive ingredient
Excuse me but you could feed a family of 6 for months with this - why do famines still exist??? It’s cheap, goes a long way - I had a recipe for hemp ice cream & substituted a quarter of the amount given for hemp with this and trebled the amount of liquid, didn’t need cooking as I used coconut sugar which dissolved without heat, 50g linseed - 100ml water - 500ml hemp milk - 75g coconut sugar - vanilla essence & into the ice cream maker. You get a creamy ice cream with a kick in the back of the throat - so I added ginger to sort of explain the kick & it works! It was filling, substantial, low calorie, as easy as it gets.

Quantity great; milled like flour
I bought this as it seemed very good value. However it’s milled to a fine flour-like texture so not really suitable for sprinkling over your breakfast cereal as it becomes lumpy with milk. I think it’s more a cooking / baking product. Also the colour is not very appealing- looks like a sort of dark brown powder. I’ll be switching back to the Linwoods product once it’s gone.

To help prevent hormonal cancers.
I take 3 tablespoons of this every day to help prevent deadly cancers. I mix it in a mug of soya milk. Full of omega 3, protein and fibre. Cheap. Helps prevent common cancers such as breast, prostate and bowel. Easier (a lot) to digest than the whole unmilled version which is only fit for birds.

For milled, read powdered.
Having recently started the Team RH plan, I've been having to focus more effort on hitting my macros, and increasing my fibre intake. Most of us don't manage to get enough fibre into our diets, apparently, but as a coeliac with some other intolerances, it soon became clear I was going to have to cheat a bit if I were to hit my fibre and stay both on my macros and within my daily calories. And so I started using a milled linseed product I bought in Aldi, which was good and also contained some blueberry powder. I bought this thinking it would be a similar texture. I was very wrong indeed. This is basically linseed powder. Linseed flour. If you're sticking it on your breakfast cereal as I was, you have to be a bit careful because it can form claggy lumps that are a bit of a surprise and not ideal as a texture on your tongue. This why my overall rating is just 3 stars. As great value as the product undoubtedly is, using it involves more compromise and faff than I really want in something I eat with breakfast. It's a good way to add fibre to a protein shake - as well as a reasonable source of protein in its own right - but I'm not buying it for that. I may try chucking it in some of my savoury bakes just to use it all, but it's just not what I wanted. I'll be making sure to stock up properly at Aldi next time.

Keep in airtight jar
Good value . Fine milled so it’s more like flour easier to blend.
