It's a mechanical watch with automatic winding. It can't be wound manually. It includes a warranty card and instructions. I needed to remove a two links on one side and one on the other and use the micro adjuster on the clasp to get it right. I like the design of the watch and the size. Since it's really an older design it's smaller, not like a lot of watches today that are pretty big, I do have a few too. For a steel watgch it's not really heavy either. I will certainly enjoy wearing this watch.

This awesome new Seiko 5 , 55th anniversary special edition arrived today . Really liking this watch . Has a vintage but modern style to this watch . Especially loving the hands on this watch and it also has a domed hardlex crystal with a bit of distortion at certain angles . The Orange 🍊 dial is beautiful. Overall solid new Seiko 5 watch and definitely recommend.

So a buddy turned me in to Seiko line of watches and I fell in love with this Automatic 5 that is a 55 anniversary edition harkening back to the 60s when this was designed. Taking stylish cues from old and new and combining them into one platform. Highly recommend for daily wear without breaking the bank.
