This keeps the debris while you’re string trimming or log cutting from impaling into your face . Good eye protection as well but would still put on saftey glasses . It’ll last a few seasons so good for the price .

I like the protection and the fit is good too.

Just be aware the face shield is not solid .. as in its flimsy .. not like cheap just isn't rigid .. works well though not one chip or rock to the face weedeating

I wear glasses, so wearing safety goggles most of the time is not the easiest thing for me. This face shield was the perfect solution for me when I am weed whacking. It was easy to put together and adjust and its very comfortable to wear for hours at a time. With the mesh face shield there is plenty of air movement so my face does not get hot and sweaty, but it protects me from flying debris. When I am done, just a quick wipe down and its ready for next time. My only complaint is that I did not get one of these sooner.

This does work for protection and is more comfortable to use than goggles when it is hot. I don't find the mesh all that easy to see through and it was kind of a pain to snap the mesh to the visor. Also, wearing this makes it impossible to also wear a sunhat and it is difficult to keep on my head. I have to sort of tuck the back strap under my ponytail and often end up with the straps getting tangled & stuck in my hair.Still, I wear this b/c it does protect my face from flying debris when weedeating.

I’m giving this shield a 5* review. It works and stays on my head OK. Coverage seems sufficient and so far it’s kept a lot of debris from smacking me in the face. I use it mostly for weed eating. I’ve also used it with an angle grinder on metal. Since I don’t use it often or for long periods, I can’t comment from a daily users perspective or how it feels in the heat or for long periods. I can expand the strap and have it fit over my floppy hat. Since the material on the hat is “silky” it moves often - not a big deal - but I may try to remedy with some kind of material to cover the hard plastic band on the shield to help it stay in place? I am happy with the purchase and should have bought one YEARS ago.

I got it for when I'm using blades on my weed eater. It is what it is and should stop little rocks from hitting me in face and saving you from an ER visit for some stitches. Used it a couple times and works really good. Don't not spit while the face shield is down...

Use this while weed wacking. Keeps weeds off my face. Shades my face . Easy to see thru.
