The control panel located on the top of the speaker body has five soft push on rubber control buttons. Press the power ON/OFF button and a voice will prompt you "Power On" or "Power Off". Short press the same button and a colour light illuminates, with beautifully changing colours- blue, green, purple, red to white. You can also select an option for no light or just the one colour. The speaker power output is very good, 5 watts, it's loud enough to enjoy downloaded or streamed music or the radio whilst you take a bath or shower. The Bluetooth range is approximately 10 metres. You can accept/reject a call from your smartphone by depressing the middle button on the speaker.
